This wheel will probably fit other units for which we don't have information. The dimensions are: Wheel outside diameter: 3" Shaft diameter: 1/2" Width(hub to hub) 1 1/8" If your bearings are hanging up. But not falling apart or too loose, try pulling them from the wheel. Use a small screwdriver to pry the bearings from the tire. You can make this easier by soaking them in hot water to soften the rubber. If there's lots of black junk in there, it may be possible to clean them. Wash thoroughly in soapy water, spinning them to remove any foreign material. Once you're satisfied they're clean, either blow them out thoroughly with compressed air or rinse in very hot water, shake well, and let set out for several hours to dry before reassembling. Roughen surface of new elastomer to provide good bonding. Apply a good rubber cement to both surfaces and allow to tack. 3M# 1300 rubber and gasket cement is a suitable choice. Apply elastomer to hub and knead throughly. Apply pressure to elastomer and allow to stand over night. Apply a medium strength thread locker to the external threaded end of the shaft. Install belt in grooves on hub and screw down on shaft. Install abrasive retainer on to shaft. Locate a fl at surface and tape 80 grit abrasive to surface. Using machine"dress in" by sanding the elastomer on the pad. Continue sanding until the entire surface of the elastomer shows signs of sanding. As in operation of the machine. Vintage Clarke MV-8 Floor Drum sander and Clarke V-5 Edger
I've got a Vintage Clarke MV-8 floor sander. It's in quite good condition and it does work! There are a few minor things wrong as is to be expected in a piece this old. On the front of the sander where the lid lifts up to expose sanding drum the metal is broke on one side impairing the hinging on that side of the lid. It has the original instruction booklet! Also has the dust collection bag but it has a small hole it in as shown in photos. It is from the 1950's not sure of the exact year. Could be a nice addition to a collection! It really is a cool piece! There is a roll of coarse sandpaper that goes along with it as well. I have removed the old piece of sandpaper that was shown in one of the photos to show the drum itself. The drum appears to be in good shape. But I am no expert on that. Also being sold with this floor sander ... moreis another relic! A Vintage Clarke V-5 floor sanding edger. From the 1950's. Yes it works! Is in pretty good shape though it has a few minor flaws as is to be expected in a piece of it's age. It has a broken piece on the top housing as you can see in the photos. The housing at the bottom also has cracks in it. The handles tend to slide off but am sure that could be remedied if it is intended to be used. The dust collector and bag are missing and still has the original electrical plug as you can see in the photos. The original instruction booklet has been preserved as well. The backing plate under the sanding discs is a little rounded but not tore up. These were listed separately previously but I am selling them as a set now for one low price. Clarke EC-8 8" Drum Floor Sander Working
Works good and bearings sound decent. Drum is in good shape but does show wear. Drum key is included. It has about 30 feet of heavy duty wiring on it that looks ok but it does have some electrical tape on it. The plug end on it has no ground prong but does have a ground plug lead sticking out of it. The plug should have a cardboard end cap on it as you can see the bare screw heads between the prongs. I don't see anything chipped.cracked or broken. Switch is working. CLARKE DU-8 DRUM SANDER floor vintage sanding refinishing antique tool flooring
This does run but needs a little bit of work. It has one broken belt that runs the drum and the drum mechanism that clamps the sand paper to the drum is locked up with rust so that would need to be taken apart and gone through, most of this is aluminum but the steel parts do have some rust. The drum spins freely by hand and the whole thing rolls well on it's steel castors, it has a heavy duty cord that is a little dirty but in good shape and very long. It comes with the dust bag and I may have the long J shaped tube that connects the bag to the machine but I am unsure at this moment, I will check and update this later. There is also a little corrosion on the aluminum. You can pick up in Farmington, MO. This was not my machine and I am not sure of it's previous life, I believe I have pointed out all that I can that is wrong with it.

Clarke Model BE-7 7-inch Floor Edger Sander with Bag
A Clarke BE-7 7-inch floor sander edger with bag. This model is similar to newer Clarke edgers. But has long, swept-back handles. Sander runs, but light bulb does not light. I do not have any sandpaper discs to check actual operation, but do not see any reason why it would not work. There is a clip for the disc wrench, but no wrench is included. Sander is used. And shows some wear. The metal body has dulled with age. There is a minor casting break on the left handle, but it is not loose and appears to have no affect on the sander. Shipping for this item will vary by location. And is calculated by eBay. I will keep shipping costs as close as possible to actual, and will ship via USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post only. It's pictured in the storage unit it's been in for the last 12-13 years. Was always used with a Power Station. Has the nose weight for a deeper cut. Also was always transported by an enclosed trailer with a ramp and a specific tie-down location. No pickup beds where it could slide around or be dropped from.
