This is a great old VICTOREEN 498 Survey Meter. As shown. It could use a little cleanup on the exterior. The interior is clean and looks like new. The battery compartment has no rust or corrosion- clean. Batteries were installed and the unit is in working order(batteries not included) The Victoreen 493 probe shows wear on both ends of the cord and is somewhat stiff.
