Antique John Deere metal drop tube ribbon seed drop tube Van Brunt grain drill
This is a metal ribbon seed drop tube with its original flange. Saved from an old John Deere grain drill. It measures 22 3/4" long including the longest length of the flange. The tube itself measures 19 1/2" long. The flange has two numbers stamped on it. On one side it is stamped B1949 and the other side is stamped B1948. I believe these to be part numbers. Not a year, as I believe the machine they came from was much older. I have 10 of these available. In lengths varying by about 2 inches. These are rusty. But are good and sturdy, and not rusting through. The tubes can be removed from the flange as there are metal tabs holding it to the flange. These are hard animals to find. Vintage Bevan Funnell Reprodux Burled Walnut Drop Leap Table with Drawer and Brass Leg Ends Made in England Here is a beautiful vintage drop leaf table for your buying consideration. From the label. It was probably made in the late 1960s. Recently picked this table up at an auction. The top of the table has that great burled walnut look to it. I am not certain if made of walnut or actually mahogany. So you be the judge of the wood type. The table has a dovetailed drawer on one side and then just a pull knob on the other side to give the table a uniform look. Brass like looking ends on the table legs and then check the wheels that are still on the table legs! The wood finish is in good condition. I see no splits cracks or repairs in the wood to report to you. The table certainly has personality marks from being almost 50 years old. But nothing ... morethat detracts, and in my opinion adds to the look of the piece. The lower spindle piece that goes horizontally to the two pieces coming down from the top of the table is loose on one side and needs some wood glue attention. A label inside the drawer says, Bevan Funnell Ltd. Reprodux, New Haven England" Also had"Made in England" emblazoned into the wood bottom. The table is 20.75" tall. By 18.75" across, by 14.75" wide. One owner for many decades. The owner is downsizing so this sentimental item must go. Full compliment of pieces: China Hutch/Cabinet Drop Leaf Table with 3 extensions Protective Pad(6 pieces) Chairs(6) The China Cabinet is a solid piece with a clear glass panel that highlights fine china and glassware remarkably. Overall height is 61.25 inches; width is 42 inches. The China Hutch has glass panels in front that slide left and right. The Hutch measures 12.50 inches deep. The Drawer and Storage area below is 18 inches deep. All drawer and cabinet hardware is original brass. The Drawer and Storage area has two drawers(4.25 and 6.00 inches high. Respectively) ... moreplus a center open two door Storage Area at the bottom(15.50 inches high) The top drawer has three(3) compartments. The second drawer has one full sized compartment. Inside the Storage Area is an additional full width shelf that is 10 inches deep measured from its back wall. An oval Brickwede brass tag can be found in the top drawer of the China Cabinet which possibly dates this furniture back to the early 1900's(see Brickwede Bros. notes below) The Dining Table has a formal look and style. This is a pre-owned. 1970's Panasonic Flip Clock and AM/FM Radio, Model RC-7021. It measures 3 3/4" tall x 10 1/2" wide x 6" deep and is in very good condition. The clock keeps time, the snooze, alarm and radio work. The light over the numbers works.however, the bulb is weak and will need replacing. There is a black& white striped wheel on the front that rotates just fine(I don't know the name of this wheel) There is a tiny worn place above the clock selector dial(please see photo) that measures 1/2" long and is less than 1/16" wide. It has it's original electrical cord and the plug has a few tiny dots of white paint on it. This clock has been nicely preserved. Please contact me if you have any questions.
