C C P D, set of vintage test equipment including: 1) amp meter marked on b. Oakrass tag Western Electro Mechanical Co. Inc. AMPS. 35 250; Volts 4000; Cat. 550 Ser 2294 Form KNOPP; Patented; leather handle; the needle moves when I turn the amp meter but it is untested electrically; the viewing window is not cracked; the box has very nice patina with its usual dings and scuffs from being used; the dimensions of the meter are 7" by 7" by 3-1/2" tall, 2) a loop antenna with two clips(at least I think that it is an antenna of some sort) 3) a metal clamp device that is hooked to old and in very poor condition wires with deteriorating insulation(most of the wire is stuck to itself- almost like it has ... morebeen in the sun) and finally(4) the neat old box in which all of these items were stored; it has a metal tag as described; it has a divider; wood is dinged; handle is damaged; dimensions are 17" by 8" by 9" tall, one hinge has been repaired with a wire stem. Lot of 48 Antique Vintage 1930's 1940's Crowe Radio Ham Test Equip Nameplates
This listing is for a lot of(48) original 1930's or 1940's nameplates or tags. Very nice reflectivity with deco lettering and numbering. Condition varies from piece to piece but each one is in very nice condition. The backs are black. Condition and coverage of the black color on the backing varies from piece to piece- some have less than others. I believe these were made by Crowe out of Chicago. Among other things. Crowe also specialized in nameplates for controls to radios and test equipment. These appear to be made out of aluminum or some other thin lightweight metal. These are original parts from the golden era of radios. Suitable for use on several tube radio models. Service and test equipment, ham radios, or even on your own homebrew set. Some lights flash when we plug it in but then nothing stays on and none of the screens display anything. So we are assuming that this piece is not working all the way. It is being sold as is since we don't think that it will work without some repair. It is mounted in a blue metal case and the hinges are missing the latches so that it will not close.
