It takes a standard 9v DC adapter(boss pedals adapter or any other similar tip negative 9v adapter) or 6 AA batteries. Both are not included. The machine is MISSING ITS BATTERY COVER. However, if you're planning on using the machine with batteries, you can still do so as the batteries still hold without the cover and you can always put a piece of tape if you'd like to secure it. This is a Korg DDD-1 programmable drum machine. The DDD-1 has many cool functions- Pitch. Decay and velocity control. 8 separate outputs, trigger out, metronome out, tape out. Midi in out and more. You can assign any sound to any output. I also used the machine to trigger a Simmons drum module by sending a rim shot sound with short decay to 4 different output s which were sent to the the Simmons's trigger inputs. Condition- Cosmetically. The machine has all kinds of wear signs, m ainly scratches and marks. A couple of places where there are engravings of numbers(past owner. and a small chip in one of the corners. Please check the photos in order to get an accurate picture of the condition.
