Automate Coaxial Switch Dual Coil Relay UHF & Microwave TNC, N connectors TESTED
Automate Model 94CSAF Coaxial Switch Tested. Diodes are wired for a plus common with switched grounds. From an Ham estate that did pretty much all band operations including 440 Mhz and above. This relay was used in his T/R setup for 1296 Mhz. And spent its life indoors. This is a dual coil relay, each input is switched independently from the other. Both inputs are grounded when not energized. This allows you to sequence your transistion between the two input connectors. We noticed that the device had been opened so our check out process included an internal inspection. We opened up the switch and verified that there was no internal damage or modification. Our inspection pictures are provided below. You can see in the very last picture they created a transmission cavity inside the switch to maintain line impediance through the switch.
