They are built on the same design and are virtually mimics of one another except for dimensions. I will list the specs of our 4x4 below. The specs of the 2x2 and 3x3 cooking surfaces are listed on other auctions. The lead photo is of the 4x4 but the other photos are from a 2x2 due to better picture quality. The 3 different models we offer are all exact mimics in design, basically they are just scaled to different sizes. The 4x4 is basically a 4ft wide 4ft deep by 6ft tall unit. The firebox is insulated on the bottom with 1.5” thick concrete and contains(4) 6x4” vents on each side of the firebox for ample inlet flow. In between the firebox and main chamber is a 2” thick insulated plate to shield the bottom racks of the smoker from excess heat radiating from the firebox underneath. The heat and smoke are transferred into the main chamber via 4 inlets. Two inlets are set low in the smoker and 2 inlets are set midway up from the bottom of the main chamber. This allows for even heat distribution within the main chamber. The main chamber consists of 5 slide out racks measuring 40” by 46.5" giving you around 64 sq feet of cooking surface which is quite a bit of room considering the footprint of the smoker. This unit at 64sq ft is equal to offset firebox smokers that are 36" diameter and 8ft long. Also on each slide is a custom made hanging rod bracket system allowing you to hang your own sausage. It consists of an 8ft long main chamber that’s 36 inches in diameter. Two cooking doors with counterweights make opening a breeze. Three slide out cooking racks per door measuring 36” by 36” and 36” by 33” and 36” by 24” giving you right at 47 square feet of cooking surface! The pit is designed with industry standard Reverse Flow. The baffles are made in 3 separate pieces for adjustability. No more hot spots… Contact me if you’d like a description of its characteristics. I have also taken this concept a step farther and made the reverse flow baffles removable. This makes cleaning a lot easier. There are 2 stacks with rain caps set to pull the heat out at“cooking grate level. They are 6” in diameter and measure 5ft long. Setting them at the same level as the cooking racks keeps the heat in the cooking chamber longer making the pit burn less wood and making the stacks 5ft long allows for a more sustained draw of smoke from the cooking chamber. Firebox The pit has a 30” tall by 30” wide firebox with(3) 6” by 4” vents for ample airflow and cooking heat. Smoker Sitting on top of the firebox is a 30” diameter by 4ft tall smoker. It is connected to the main chamber by a 6” by 4” vent that can be opened for smoking or shut off completely turning the smoker into a warmer.
