In between the firebox and main chamber is a 2” thick insulated plate to shield the bottom racks of the smoker from excess heat radiating from the firebox underneath. The heat and smoke are transferred into the main chamber via 4 inlets. Two inlets are set low in the smoker and 2 inlets are set midway up from the bottom of the main chamber. This allows for even heat distribution within the main chamber. The main chamber consists of 5 slide out racks measuring 40” by 46.5" giving you around 64 sq feet of cooking surface which is quite a bit of room considering the footprint of the smoker. Up for auction are two sets of quick connects with reverse flow check valves for use with gas(Propane) and Oxygen. One set is made by Western Enterprises and the other is made by Koike. They are both"regulator to hose" sets but could be used on the torch side or inline with the right adapters. They are used and are in working condition but do have a couple of issues. The western oxygen fittings do not always connect just by pushing them together and the knurled green ring needs to be twisted and wiggled a bit before they lock together. The koike fuel fittings do not always pop apart easily when disconnecting and the knurled ring need to be pulled and twisted a little to get them to separate. If you only occasionally connect/disconnect your hoses then these issues will probably not bother you much. If you use the connects a lot it ... moremay be a bit inconvenient. 6" Flow Blue Plate by Adams dark color impressed mark 1.5" crack on reverse
Here is a great piece of flow blue china with a very dark blue colorway. The piece is 6" across and has the usual decoration around the edge of trees surrounding a country estate with two gentlemen admiring the building from across a lake. The transfer also simulates a shell edge to the plate although it is actually smooth at the edge. Marked on the back with a blue transfer logo that appears to be an eagle holding a banner in its claws. The words on the banner are illegible. There is also an impressed mark with the word Adams and an eagle although the rest of the impressed mark is illegible. The condition is quite good with no visible damage on the front. There is a crack that runs for 1.5" from the rim of the plate to the beginning of the footrim. Near the crack are two very insignificant glaze chips in the rim. 250 Gallon Reverse Flow BBQ Smoker on a 7' x 13' Enclosed Screened Trailer
For sale is a homemade reverse flow smoker from a 250 gallon gallon propane tank(twice as big as 125 gallon what most other smokers are) It has 2 racks of heavy grates(upper and lower on each side) and 100 lb propane tank fire box that can double as a grill if you wish. The smoker is welded to a 7' x 13' screened trailer made from metal screen and 2x4's with a metal roof and metal pipe vent. It has good tires and I will thrown in a spare tire! I have the state of Florida trailer title for the trailer as well as a hitch lock for it. This smoker cooks the best BBQ ever. I bough this for a BQQ business that never took off. My loss can be you gain. I had nine racks of ribs and eight pork butts on this beast and it didn't even fill up 1/2 of the smoker!
