Velleman K6501 Remote Control By Telephone, relays, PSU and line protection
On offer are an assembled and working Velleman K6501. And the parts used to control two AC outlet circuits and one ethernet circuit. These items were removed from a panel assembly. Two power supplies are included, one powered the K6501 the other the relay coils. The power supplies have DC connector plugs but the DC receptacles are not included. A Polyphaser telephone line protector is included. The AC outlet box is wired with a plug for the AC supply. Two outlets are controlled by one solid state relay. A third outlet by the another solid state relay, the fourth outlet is unswitched and was for the relay coils power supply. The ethernet relay assembly consists eight mechanical relays, one for each conductor. Note that, in this configuration, for switched AC outlets to operate, the solid state relays have to be energized, the ethernet circuit ... moreis the opposite, interrupted by energizing the relays. Unfortunately there is no enclosure for the ethernet circuit only the ethernet wall plate and relay board. The Velleman K6501 comes stock supplied with only one control relay. An exact match for the board is near impossible to source in the USA, so the red and blue jumpers are where external relay coil control voltage is routed through the relay driver transistors on the Velleman K6501, thus enabling use of all three channels. The K6501 documentation is complete. The K6501 was assembled by me. I'm an experienced broadcast television engineer with 30 years electronics experience. I added the other parts to control components throughout a television transmitter plant.
