It is an advanced composite wall which is positioned behind any microphone by means of a variable position stand clamp assembly which ships with the product. The main function is to help obtain a‘dry’ vocal or instrument recording. This is especially useful in studios without proper acoustic treatment. The sE Reflexion Filter will help isolate room sounds and outside interference from your environment. It would also work well for other instruments like an acoustic guitar or horns. With some creative placement and experimentation you could position the filter to achieve lots of different ambient effects but it is mostly useful for isolation. This probably isn't going to completely block out those jumbo jets flying over or that fire engine that just drove through the alley but under most circumstances it will clean up the sonic stew circulating around your home recording space. All the structure is present and sound except for a tuning knob(variable capacitors) Manuals have had bindings removed, one is missing a cover a one page of table of contents but I think all the rest is present. Midi synth ready 24-fret project Gibson SG(body& hardware only; NO ELECTRONICS) Early 1990s Gibson“All American SG 1” modified body. This guitar originally had a single humbucking pickup in the bridge position. With single volume and tone controls and a ¼” output jack. I modified it for use as a dedicated midi guitar synth using Graph-Tech Ghost Saddles, Acoustiphonic and Hexpander preamps. I am selling the guitar body with chrome hardware(machine heads. Tune-o-matic bridge, stop tailpiece) only, with the original Gibson padded gig bag. The guitar does not have strap buttons(I play sitting down) and the plastic rear control-cavity cover has two small holes for extra controls. The body has very few minor dings for all it’s been through. It is in good condition. Overall. List of modifications: The original humbucking pickup cavity ... morewas professionally filled in with a wood block. This was done by Bernie Hefner of Whittier California. And he did an excellent job. The“seams” of the fill can be seen in the finish only; coloring is consistent. Bernie Hefner of Whittier California painted the entire guitar black and refinished it with nitrocellulose lacquer(not poly) A small hole was routed between the control cavity and the top of the guitar. To accommodate the wires between the Ghost Saddles. The hole directly underneath the bridge is not visible with the bridge installed. This routing was professionally done by Kirk Sand Guitars of Laguna Beach, California. A square hole was created on the bottom side of the guitar body to allow for installation of a 13-pin din midi/synth output jack. This was also done at Kirk Sands Guitars. A Graph-Tech“Black Tusq” guitar nut was professionally installed by Kirk Sand Guitars of Laguna Beach. California. The top of the guitar is completely blank except for two small holes for volume and tone. And of course the small hole under the bridge for wires from the Ghost Saddles. Description: Ibanez S Saber series body parts repair project working electronics. This Ibanez S series body is being sold for parts or as a repair project. The electronics in this guitar work perfectly. The only thing you need to turn it into a working guitar is a neck and some strings. The Ibanez S style(Saber) body is an offset double cutaway which is thin and light. Very comfortable to hold and play. This body style was also the basis for their Satriani series guitars. The pickups are in an H-S-H configuration; an AH2 in the bridge, AH1 in the neck and an AS1 in the middle. This pickup allows for a wide variety of tines ranging from mellow, vintage sounds to aggressive, modern tones. From clean country and jazz to howling blues all the way to nu-metal or grindcore this guitar will pull it off. Controls are very simple; master volume and ... moremaster tone with a five way selector and recessed output jack. The bridge is an Ibanez Lo-TRS Trem II, floating Floyd Rose style vibrato. There is no bar for the bridge but the rest of it there. Other hardware included are the strap buttons and neck bolts. This body is in good shape. There are no major chips or dents. There is some minor cosmetic wear like light scratches. And some of the black chrome finish has worn off to reveal regular chrome on the pickup surrounds and bridge. The bridge plate on the back that covers the back of the bridge assembly is missing from the back of the body too. When fining a neck for this guitar you have to keep in mind that not every neck is going to work and the scale length and radius should be taken into consideration.
