WITTKE Road Wizard Street Sweeper
elgin street sweeper with wittke serial number known problems- has salvage title- asthetic structural damage to hopper/needs new hopper yet works excellent. drives only about 50 hours then chews the front serpentine belt in half. then runs about three months no problems on the half belt. Its an alternator alignment issue that I haven't s been able to solve less than 1000 miles on 235 hp cummins 5.9 rebuild- top speed is somewhere over 75 mph- which would be unnecessary recently. Got engine rebuilt, new 11r 22.5 16 ply tires, less than 60 miles ago, new wheel seals/ new 90 w.gear oil& rear brakes. The truck will be getting new front brakes. Service brake chambers installed in a few days- the parking brake valve& pull switch is brand new the service brakes and the parking brake work excellent. I installed chains/flights squeegeez& ... morenew steel at the beginning of the season and new elevator bearings last week the machine is currently in service/in operating condition tools/ camera' system& water system upgrades by james bermea of sweep systems inc. There is much more to list which is replaced, or new and improved soon to add more photos 12/13/14. Can not ship. But may assist
