freightliner century 1998 detroit diesel automatic
truck freightliner century 1998 detroit engine 12.7 with direct exhaust( no AGR or so. and 475HP smart shift transmission( same as automatic ones but does have a clutch) working just fine truck was my personal driving truck O/O so no some i don't know driver. on dec 27 2012 i have purchased a classic xl freightliner and since then i have drive this truck no more. why? just because i want to drive a classic. anyway i have kept this truck as a strategy until i have mechanical fixed 100% the classic one. truck i am selling. I have purchased in nowember 2010 and i have started to drive it in july 2011. in 2011 i have fix on the truck: lights and bushing on the cabin + cabin airbags+ i have installed a main switch disconnector for batteries+ sleeper heating lines( replaced with copper ones and shut off valves) and electronic switch in sleeper ... morepanel in 2012 i have replaced in order: fuel pump in february- alternator. A/C compressor + air dryer in march-turbo + air filter in may-all U-joints on drive-shaft in april- complete new brakes in august- rear axle air bags in september-radiator + air compressor in octomber-steer gear box( including hi pressure hose)+and steering system rods(all. But i never got a chance to do a laser wheel alignment each i do strongly recommend)+main fuel lines+ valve adjustment( also seal gasket up and bottom occasion when i verified engine bottom each is in excellent shape) in november-head lamps in dec. engine runs just like new. Transmission shifts with no problem, still have the same clutch from previous owner i don't know when and if has been replaced, rear end ratio is 3:55 i also replaced driver seat and lower steering wheel for maximum comfort. I have remover passenger seat, but i bring it back now for the sale( not installed but bolt's are screwed in the floor if necessary to be remounted, computer has 1 code for rear driver side axle ABS sensor malfunction( i purchased truck like that and didn't wanted to fix it, cause i had no problem with driving with no ABS) a
