2008 Laymor 8C Powered Broom Sweeper; Excellent Condition; 535 HRS
Available for sale is a 2008 Laymor 8C powered broom. We are a utility contractor that purchased this machine to be used on a large pipe/street job. It was used for the last year to clean the streets at the end of the workday- I would say while it was used everyday. It was used for probably 30 minutes a day. Machine is powered by a Cummins B3.3 making 85 gross HP and starts right up. It has a hydrostatic transmission operated by a forward and reverse pedal and works flawlessly. It has an 8' sweep with brushes in good condition with average wear. Water pump system works- all nozzles spray. Tires are 225/75R15 and are in good condition. Back-up alarm is present and works. Machine currently shows 535 hours on the hour meter. This broom is in very good presentable condition and is ready to go directly onto the next job. Not sure of operating ... moreweight- it has been towed on a utility trailer behind a 1/2 ton pick-up truck. But it was a heavy load. Suggest a 3/4 ton pick-up.
