For sale is a vintage Nara Trading Co. Washington DC souvenir pot metal crumb pan It measures 5 1/2" X 5 1/2" It shows some age but is very good used condition see pictures. Pan is silver and gold with 5 intricate detailed raised impressions of Washington DC landmarks. Bottom full length impression of the capitol building. Middle vertical impression of the Washington monument. Smaller horizontal oriented impressions of the white house and Lincoln monument on the right and library of congress on the left. The top has two dragons surrounding a heart shaped handle hole. The rear has some ripples on the surface that have not affected the front. The front is in almost excellent condition less some paint discoloration to the bottom edge and the edges of some of what appears to be gilt around the raised impressions. Vintage Matchbox Holder, Coal Scoop, and Dust Pan Set
The matchbox holder has MNFD-BY-P.N. CO FULTON ILL USA stamped on the back in a circle. I didn't see any markings on the dust pan or the coal scoop. The coal scoop paint is scratched on the handle and there is a small crack and scrape where the scoop is fluted. Looks like they are made out of aluminum since so light but not positive. Antique Hand Carved Brush and Dust Pan Black Forest Edelweiss
This is an useful item. But an extraordinary set! Let me start with the dust pan. 9 1/4" across x 8 5/8" tall and all carved from one piece of wood. It has a decorative twist handle that is carved too. There are a couple missing nicks around the edge, but it is old(great patina) and wood does splinter. These are old nicks, not recent. The inside of the pan is carved with three flowers that look like edelweiss to me. Which reminds me of Sound of Music so I put them at Germany/Austria, a bit earlier, maybe when Mother Superior was a girl. The background of the flowers even has a patterned carve. You have to hold this to appreciate. It weighs 4 oz. and the back is smooth(see pic.4) The brush is wonderful. 12" long x 3" across x 1 5/8" w/bristles, 5/8" for just the wood. It is carved with the same 3 Edelweiss flowers, ... moreand a double twisted handle. At first I thought it one piece of wood, but I believe that this is two pieces together because of the bristles having to be attached to the handle. The wood on the front of the brush is separating slightly and goes back to the end of the bristles. You can just make out a faint line where they are connected. There is a bit of damage I just noticed on the end(see pic. 11) It must have been done while I was taking pictures. I will include a picture in the lineup. Brush weighs 3 oz. One of a kind set! Nile Green Novelty Dust Pan - Greentown
This novelty dust pan was made by the Indiana Tumbler& Goblet Company of Greentown. Indiana and dates to the late 1890's. The color is Nile green and is considered rare by Greentown collectors. It measures 3 3/4"W across its lower edge and 3 3/4"H from the lower edge to the top of the handle. The lower edge has the expected minor roughness, these were made in pairs that were joined along the edge and then snapped apart. The only note on condition is the small area of dark debris in the glass located in one of the ribs on the handle. See our last picture. This is not unusual to glass making of that period. No Reserve.

This item is a used white porcelain dust pan. Which mearsures 10" across at its' widest point and 7" from the end to the handle and then, 14" from the handle end to the other end. Porcelain is missing in several places, which I tried to pick up in the pictures. On the back in blue is a"GM" within a circle and an"8" under this mark. This dust pan could have been used in a hospital, doctor's office or in a home. I know it is rare, heavy and old, comes from a long gone era, and is strictly a collectible. I Make Few Bucks LET'S BENEFIT TOGETHER UP FOR AUCTION: COLLECTIBLE VINTAGE/ANTIQUE DECORATIVE METAL ORNATE REPOUSSE RAISED JAPANESE SCENES DUSTPAN MADE IN JAPAN The featured item represents a table crumbs catcher or dust pan that measures approximately 7" at the widest and the longest points. The dustpan is made of soft silver tone. Pewter/tin like metal that I am not sure of the exact kind. It features elaborate raised scenes of Japanese style houses and architecture. A lot of detailed trees decorate the background. The rims are repoussed with dragons and the top is pierced for easy hanging. The piece is highly detailed and stamped"Made In Japan" at the back. No stamps revealing the year of production but I believe it was made prior to the second half of ... morethe last centuries. Most of the similar pans I've seen depict different word fairs and expositions and city souvenirs from the 30's and the 40's. Some of them were made during the Occupied Japan period. The item comes in well-preserved condition for its age with no dents or other major surface damages. Some normal vintage wear on the metal like tarnishing and discoloration here and there.
