Item for sale is a 200watt 5.5 gallon Mettler Cavitator brand ultrasonic cleaning tank. This item is used and in average cosmetic condition and fully functional. A new unit this size is $1875.00 on Amazon. This tank is not heated. The tank inside dimensions are: 19"L x 11 1/2"W x 6"Dp. See photos for condition. This unit is supplied from the OEM with an electromechanical timer which failed and was removed and replaced with a simple on/off toggle switch. One of the photos shows a closeup view of a strip of aluminum foil which was partially submerged in the tank while it was operating. The purpose of that is to show the sonics are operating properly. If you look closely. You can see the texture of the foil exhibits typical roughening where it was submerged due to the small impact forces applied to the foil by the cavitation of ... morethe ultrasonic energy within the water filling the tank. This is an Ultrasonic Power Corporation 39 Gallon Industrial Ultrasonic Cleaner 1500W/ 240V/40KHZ. Model# 51-15-276. The cleaner was purchased new in 2007 for $11.000 and has very little use. It has two generators inside a main controller of 1000W for two of the transducer banks and a second 500W generator for the third and final bank. The smaller 500W generator is as-is. It does not send power out to the transducers for an unknown reason. The generator went bad one day with no indication of damage or electrical issues. The generator will still power up and the fans will run but power won’t send out. Every transducer bank has been tested individually and is functioning properly determining that it is the 500W generator that is not working correctly. The cleaner can be used with just two of the banks running for operational use or if all 3 ... morebanks would be desired than I can provide photos of the second generator internals along with any information if fixing or replacing the generator would be wanted. I have used the cleaner plenty of times with just the 2 banks since you can place the item to be cleaned in the area above the 2 running banks. The generators can be adjusted to run at variable power outputs for the strength of transducers. The cleaner runs off of 240 volt. Single phase power and I have added an extra-long power cord to it so it could be moved as needed. The cleaner h also as the high temperature and filtration system upgrades. This makes this unit a fantastic and versatile unit for all kinds of cleaning applications. And it is large enough for large capacity jobs. Both the filtration system and pump have been tested and are working. The temperature pads on the side of the tank can heat between 120– 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The tank size is 32" long x 18" wide x 16" deep. The overall dimensions are 36.5” Tall x 40.75” Wide x 23” Deep. There is a basket that fits inside the tank.
