Dodge Chemical Co Inc. Model 44 Patent Number 2212339 I was not certain what this item was. I am not certain to what period this item dates. I have done some research and found that it is a needle injector. It is used to drive a needle into bone or hard tissue. The spring action is workable. I have not polished it. 1926 Gerling Toy antique composition cloth French boudoir bed doll HOTSY TOTSY
Offering a charming old French boudoir bed doll. I do not know her past history I purchased her from a doll estate. But will try to describe her the best I can, hand written tag attached says"Gerling Toy Co. NY, London, Paris, Germany, Hotsy Totsy" boudoir doll 1926" I did not remove her original clothing to look for a makers name, most of these dolls are unmarked and their clothing stitched up the back. Bed dolls were used as displays decor on the bed in the 1920s/1930s period. Measures 28" tall being a composition flange head with cloth stuffed body. I see no cracks on this composition head and only minor wear. I do need to mention a tiny hole on the right cheek(see photo#5) possibly a factory flaw I don't know. A wonderful face with"unusual" painted black eyes, the liner extends far beyond the eyes, blue ... moreshadow on her eye lids with black single stroke brows, closed mouth, light color blush on her cheeks. Light brown human hair wig is secure on her head, looks very old with a center stitched part, I believe her original wig. Her body looks to be in nice shape and well cared for. She has really long legs and long arms with dress material covering the arms and hands so I do not know if there are fingers, hands are all cloth. Her body is a"red" stuffed cloth. There are black shoes on her feet, this is how I purchased her so I do not know if the shoes are her original or a replacement. Orig clothing shows wear throuhout but no serious rips or stains, there is a half slip under her dress. I have taken plenty of photos. This is the Cat Pump Model 311 with a 5 hp. Baldor motor. The Model 311 pump is the exact same pump as the Model 310. Except it's stainless steel instead if chrome plated brass. The Model 311 retails for $3,795 and the Model 310 for $1,178 and that's why you don't see the Model 311 very often. Nobody pays retail for these pumps and the retail prices were given as a comparision of the two models. The Model 311 cost about 3 times as much as the Model 310.
