Hotsy 4 GPM Heated Pressure Washer
Hotsy model 810 commercial grade hot/cold water pressure washer. 4 GPM at 1100 PSI. 230 Volt 3 hp single phase electric motor, 350,000 BTU burner runs on diesel, kerosene or heating oil, 20 amp total draw at 230 volts. This is a very nice unit, works great! Bought new in 1992 but we simply don't use it enough; never really have and its just taking up garage space. This unit was for occasional cleaning of our farm equipment and has never ever been used commercially. Always stored indoors and has never even been out in the rain. Priced to sell; a new one this size now runs around $6000. Unit was lightly reconditioned as it was pretty low use to start with but the following are an itemized list of what’s been done: 1. Unit has been cleaned and repainted. It was pretty scratched and chipped from years of piling junk on it. 2. Boiler water ... moreline coil was a little rusty from sitting and age so it was removed, cleaned with a hot acid bath and given a fresh high temp coating. Water line coil is about 60% life remaining, it’s an age thing(water flowing through steel pipe =rust) and had nothing to do with use as the rest of the unit is 90% or better 3. Heater burner was removed, cleaned and the original filter was replaced but no further work was needed as it was in good working order anyway. 4. Electric drive motor was a little sluggish at starting so it was refreshed with brand new start and run capacitors. 5. Electrical wiring was completely gone through and checked for any short circuits or damage; none was found so no further work was needed. 6. Water pump was cleaned off but its like new so no further work was needed, even still has the original drive belts. 7. Spray wand was replaced because the original accidentally got run over when it was laying out. The replacement isn’t as heavy duty and new owner may want something better but it works for now.
