Topped with a beaded design. The tray is raised on four ball form feet. The tray has a removable padded liner, which is presumably not original to the piece. With or without the tray, this is an elegant little tray, useable for whatever you like. This piece has Dutch hallmarks on the underside and on the center medallion of the openwork on one of the long sides. The lion in a hexagonal cartouche is the 833 silver purity guarantee mark. The helmet-wearing head is the assay office stamp. The gothic B is the date letter for 1886. The silver tray is in excellent condition. There are no splits. No dents, and no solder repairs.
