Vintage c.1901 Antique GE General Electric Type A Brass Blade Pancake Motor Fan
For your consideration a vintage c.1901 fan. The fan is made of metal. I am not sure if the paint is original. The blades and cage are made of brass and will not magnetize. The blades measure 12" across. I could not test it to see if it still works properly as the cord is bad and sparked when I plugged it in. The blades and motor still turn easily. I am selling it as is. It measures 17 1/2 in height. An excellent addition to any antique collection or if you just want to own a really neat old fan. I am selling this item with no reserve. Antique Electric Motor 1905 Ajax
This is an old Ajax toy electric motor. Made of cast iron with brass bearing and brushes. Ajax uses a balanced armature that makes it runs very smooth. These motors where hand made and all are a little different depending on the wire size and materials they had on hand. Deferent wire sizes mint different voltages and RPM. This one has an oil reservoir on the front bearing for sustained running. Armature sizes. Brush holders and badges were designed deferent through the years.

Vintage Antique Miniature Electric Motor Mounted On Wood Base 2 1/2" Nice Neat
Here is a very neat old miniature electric motor that is being offered. This motor measures 2 1/2 wide. And stands 2 1/2" high. These measurements are to their widest points, and does not include the wood base it is mounted on. The wood base measures 3 3/4" x 2 3/8" and is 5/8" high. This motor is untested, however, it does look complete, and in very nice shape. Could use a little cleaning. I have provided many photos to show this little treasure in detail. This was recently purchased from an estate where I was informed that this had been completely dissasembled- stripped down and the black finish was all baked on at a local automotive shop a few years ago- and it shows! The enamel is almost mirror like! ALL Of the brass parts cleaned. Buffed and all sealed- and there is ALOT of brass on this beauty! This features a 16" BRASS BLADE AND GUARD. The blade looks like it may have had some wrinkles- that were correcty. It looks great- and man do they push some air! The 16" brass guard is perfect- no breaks or repairs. Early version brass plate VOLTAMP open frame electric motor. The armature is solid, straight and rotates smoothly. The commutator barely shows any use. There are two matching hexagonal drip cups. There is a rather stiff felt pad on the base. Which doesn't allow me to view the bottom side connections. There is a crack in the wood base on the short side of the coil. Which is also missing its exterior wrap. The one screw securing ... morethe upper brush assembly is a replacement. The on/off switch operates correctly. All I had was a 1-amp. 6-volt motorcycle battery charger to test the operation. The armature struggled, but it did rotate. I don't know the specs. But a note that came with it(dated 1961) simply said"6 to 12 volts" I looked very hard, but did not uncover any patent dates. On final inspection, to me, the knob on the control switch is suspect. Up for auction is Century Electric oscillating fan. Model 15, S3, no. 56330 motor and stand. It is dirty and need's work on it. Does run but when you tilt it back the shaft goes in and it stops. The oscillating bar is missing so don't know if it works. The motor is wired to stand, so something missing there. Bottom plate is missing. 5 speed and all work. Selling as is to restore or parts. ANTIQUE 1/4 HP CENTURY ELECTRIC MOTOR ~ RUNS PAT 1914-15,1750 RPM,VTG LATHE TOOL
Offered is a 1/4 hp repulsion-start and induction-run electric motor made by Century Electric of St Louis. Missouri. The brass ID plate has two patent dates, in 1914 and 1915. The plate indicates that this motor will run on 110 or 220 volts, and that it runs at 1750 rpms. This is a very old motor. I don't know much more about it than what the plate indicates, nor it's exact age or application. The motor is about 12 inches in overall length and weighs about 45 pounds. It had a totally awful cord on it when I got it. I plugged it into an extension cord and then plugged that in. It ran just fine. smoothly with just a little occasional noise, as if some bit was rubbing at times. I then cut the cord off. The shaft has about 1/8 inch of endplay but does not wiggle. The shaft is served by two oils caps at each end. I just blew the loose ... morecrud off with compressed air. This motor would clean up really nice, but I will leave that project to the next owner. I cannot find any breaks or damage to the cast iron bells or base. No dents in case. The screws aren't marked up. The ID plate has a break in one corner near a rivet, but could be repaired. Little of the original black paint remains. It would not be unusual if this motor also needed some lubrication, maintenance or internal repairs. I am no expert but have read that these motors are reliable, simple, and easy to repair. Please look the pictures over closely. Winner pays for USPS Priority in the USA. Can go Standard Post if it is significantly cheaper to your location. This is a heavy item requiring extra care in packaging. Up for Auction is an Antique Robbins& Myers Electric Motor The Motor is 1/4 HP- Single Phase- 110 Volts- 60 Cyc. 5.7 Amps- Frame 375 RPM's are 1750 and it's a Type FA Motor Mounted on a 2" X 8" piece of wood. With some kind of suspension system, I suppose to lessen any vibration to the Motor. Sorry. I tried, but I can not detach the wood from the mounts, so the wood 2" X 8" come with the motor. The Motor runs well. It appears to have the original cord attached. Which is in very good condition. This model has no ON/OFF switch. You'd have to plug it into a switched outlet. I have a hard to find vintage craftsman 1/6 HP alternating motor for your consideration. Motor was repurposed recently with a variable speed forward reverse switch mounted on a large board. I removed switches and board. Motor runs smoothly and has a 1/2 inch drive rod. No. B10590, 1/4 HP, 1200 RPM, Volt 220/110, Amp 2.4/4.8, Ph 1, Cyc 60, Williams Oil O Matic Heating Corp. Bloomington, Ill. My grandfather used this motor to power a sanded sen in one of the pictures. The sander is listed in a separate auction. The motor runs fine. This is a very old motor and it weighs 65 pounds. Early antique electric motor/rotator for geissler tubes
A really nice and rare geissler tube rotator made by Schönner. Nürnberg around 1890-1900. Type of motor- Lahmeyer type motor with triple armature. With motor included three working geissler tubes(on one tube the metal caps are missing) and an induction coil. All pieces in original used condition- they all should work- but without guarantee as there could be always small contact problems. ANTIQUE ECK DYNAMO & MOTOR CO. ELECTRIC FAN LAST PATENT DATE 1901 BRASS BLADES
This auction is for an old electric fan. On the plate it states" ECK DYNAMO& MOTOR CO. BELLEVILLE NJ" See closeup photo of plate for other info. On the bottom of the fan on the porcelain it states" DIEHL" I plugged the fan in and it runs great- blades are a little out of balance- appears to run at 3 different speeds. The fan does suffer from paint loss and the brass is tarnished as seen in the photos. The cage is a little rough and could use some straightening- I see one crack in the brass cage ring where the"s" wires attach but it appears to be stable. I do not see any other cracks or breaks on the rest of the fan. Blades are 16 inches across from tip to tip. Overall height of fan is about 21 inches. I would like to remove the fan cage and blades and ship in a seperate box to avoid damage.

Antique GE Brass Blade. Brass Cage Tank Fan. Brass name plate is riveted with number 460578. The latest pat. date is june 25, 1901 and the earlest reading is april 26, 1892. I plugged in and motor turned right away. I plugged in a second time and it hummed and needed help. The three speeds worked the first time but not the second time as I did not want to burn motor up. I know these motors are bullet proof and just needs to be restored. I do notice that the speed control knob seems to be broken off on the tip. Brass blade and cage look to be in great shape and the blade measures 16 inces. The cage measures just over 17 inches. Very Heavy fan as it wieghs 28 pounds. MY BEST GUESS IS THIS FAN WOULD NEED A FULL RESTORATION. I I WILL REMOVE THE CAGE AND FAN BLADE FOR SHIPPING AND REFUND ANY DIFFERENCE.

Antique Porter Electric Motor K&D No. 4 ~ As Is For Parts or Restoration ~ NR
The brass plaque on the top of this antique open frame electric motor reads"PORTER MOTOR K&D No. 4" It stands approximately 6" in height with a 3 1/2" by 4 1/4" footprint and weighs a little under 8 lbs. It's not in working order and I'm selling it the way I found it for parts or restoration. The armature is frozen and it does no turn. It shows heavy wear to the paint and the surface is lightly rusted. The wiring is frayed on the ends and some of the wiring is covered with white residue. Please see the attached images which give an accurate impression of the cosmetic condition of the motor. US buyer to pay the actual cost of priority mail shipment with delivery confirmation. Classic Antique Minn Kota Electric Trolling Motor Vintage Fishing Collectable

I made a quick call to Minn Kota directly trying to figure out how old it is and nobody their could could tell me based on the pictures I sent them but they estimated it at 75+ years old! The best part is it is still completely functional! It does show it's age but still turns just fine in all 3 speeds. For Sale: Antique Kent Dynamo or Motor No. 8 cast iron motor. Kent is a predecessor to Atwater Kent. This is a great vintage motor with a beautiful brass tag on top that says Kent Dynamo or Motor No. 8. It spins freely but has not been tested. It has grease cups. Brushes and 3 terminals. Looking on Google books at an Electrical Engineer magazine article it shows this motor and the magazine is dated 1897. It appears to be all there. It is on a nice wooden base that measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/2" The motor is 4 5/8" tall and 4" wide. It has a small piece of masking tape on one side with 303 written on it. Antique vintage school lab open frame electric motor/dynamo teaching 1930-40's
This devise is from a school lab for studying and demonstrating electrical motors and possibly dynamos. The wood base is 18 5/8 by 10. It is 10 1/2 tall overall. The shaft is 17 3/8 long. The outer ferrous ring diameter is 9. All measurements are in inches and are approximate. It weighs about 45 pounds. The rotor is free and the bearings appear sound. The wires from the rotor are unattached from the slip rings. Otherwise. All coils appear sound.The stator coils have clips to, I believe, vary the excitement order via jump wires.I am listing this as pickup only but I will ship it if you realize shipping this weighty and large object will be expensive and slow.
