2005 2HP Honda 4 Stroke Outboard Motor, Short Shaft - No Reserve
This is a 2005 Honda 2HP Outboard Engine. 4 Stroke. AIR Cooled. Pull start, no battery needed. This is a SHORT shaft outboard. I never got out enough. So I sold the boat and trailer, now the engine is going too. Starts with one pull no problem. And will idle all day long without a hiccup. This is a 4(Four) Stroke engine NOT 2 stroke. It is also AIR cooled, there is no water pump in this motor to cool it. It has the centrifugal clutch so the there is no forward or reverse gear, you simply swing the motor around pull the tiller to the other side for reverse, and vice versa. At idle the propeller doesn't spin. It will move a 15 foot boat around pretty good for fishing, plenty for trolling, and then some. Obviously you are not going to plane the boat with 2 horse power. It's pretty quiet engine especially at idle, you can barely hear ... moreit run. The motor is very lightweight, around 30 pounds. Almost anyone can lift this outboard. I bought the engine new in 2005 for $969.99 from iboats.com. Old Original 1 1/2hp Hercules Hit Miss Gas Engine Crank Guard Steam Tractor NICE
This is a rather hard to find original cast iron crank guard. Fender, or shield for a 1 1/2hp Hercules hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts to the crankcase of the engine with two bolts 5 inches on center. It has been primed at some time in the past but this could be undone very easily or leave it as it is. It looks like there's a lot of original paint underneath. These original crank guards are pretty tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets as they are usually attached to an engine! This would be a great piece to finish your restoration or just to have on the shelf as a spare. It could be a while until another one turns up so don't miss it. The pictures tell the story. Hello folks! Here I have listed a Dayton Electric Motor Industrial. Model 5GD74. It's 1&1/2HP. 3450 RPM. 115/230 Volts. 1 Phase, Reversable, 3" Diameter Pully, 1/2" V Groove. The motor is 10 1/2" Long, and 7" in diameter. This was mounted on a Table saw, and removed to use for another project. It was stored in clean dry storage, and I never did a thing with it. I plugged it in to a wall outlet and it has POWER! It almost flipped over on the bench, when it was powered up! It Spun fast! Solid motor! No noises, and working good! There is a small dent as you can see in the pictures, on the capacitor cover.I have no idea how it happened. It's heavy duty! Weighs 38 pounds! I see no issues on this motor. Strong runner. USA only.
