Listing is for one New 24 Volt DC Permanent Magnet Motor removed from E Bike add on kit. These motors were purpose built for E bikes and would use a friction pulley that would directly contact the the tire of a bicycle. Each motor purchased will come with this pulley installed. The pulley is easily removed with an allen set screw. The kits were part of a buyout and would have had 2 sealed lead acid batteries along with the motor in a case that would sit on a rack behind your bike seat, the motor friction pulley would have contacted the rear tire. The motors were removed because the batteries were left too long on the shelf in a discharged state which rendered them useless and they were removed and recycled. I have attached a video to show what the motors can do to the best of my ability since there was no distinguishable markings or model ... morenumbers on them. I am assuming based on size comparison they are between 350 and 450 Watts. If someone might be able to verify the wattage based on my video I would appreciate the information. 1909 ROBBINS and MYERS R&M DC MOTOR and GENERATOR CATALOG BIPOLAR DYNAMO
Here's a very nice original early catalog from the Robbins and Myers Company. Of Springfield OH. It is catalog no. 75, dated March, 1909. This catalog illustrates the full range of the DC motors and generators that they produced at the time. The motors ranged from fractional horsepower units up to 12 1/2 HP. And the generators ranged up to 3 kw capacity. The catalog contains approximately 50 illustrations and diagrams. It measures 6 by 9 inches, and has 32 numbered pages(not including the covers) It is in exceptional condition. Clean and unmolested, no tears or cutouts, no odor, and the staples are still bright and shiny. The last few pages have some minor creasing very close to the spine and the last page has a picture of the factory, and there are two ink smears on that page(which I believe happened during the printing process) Shipping ... morewill be via USPS First Class Mail in plastic between heavy sheets of cardboard.
