This is one beautifully pinstriped. Antique, early Western Electric Company bipolar motor with brass plate that says it is Type G-1, 110 volts, 1/12 H. P. No. 14285, 1.1 amp. and 1750 rev.rpm) I found the motor with the attached brass pulley, which easily comes off with a set screw. Motor is missing one carbon rod(as seen in close-up pics) Wires are unattached; I didn't want to take the chance of hooking anything up and burning the motor out. Armature turns freely. It was well protected up under the skirt. The dataplate was covered with paper. So that dataplate is mint. It's made of cast iron parts. It has a small 1-3/4" sheave(pulley) on it 1/2" x 1-1/4" shaft with through hole located where the sheave is situated This motor doesn't come with a motor base(a ring type would be appropriate) The spread between the rings is 7-1/2" on center. The motor housing is about 6-1/4" diameter. The motor is about 9-1/2" long from end to end. Including the shaft. Great working condition. Great physical condition as can be seen in the pictures.
