An additional tag states motor is suitable for 208 volt service. Has pre-lubricated ball bearings and is thermally protected with manual reset. Features capacitor start and a continuous duty rating with a 1.25 service factor. The reference number is R602909AF8843, made by Doerr Electric Corp. in Cedarburg. WI U.S.A. To my knowledge this motor had never any actual use. And was discarded in pristine condition because some one believed it was only suitable for 208 volts. Significant shelf wear on the bottom. Motor has been sitting for over 25 years in my hands, the frame base shows no signs in the paint that it was ever bolted to anything. The shaft has no set screw impressions, ... moreinside of motor looks totally clean. This is an industrial quality motor, you’d be hard pressed to find one made of this quality today, and as repairable. Being sold as refurbished. The power cord is two(2) conductor and was only installed for testing. This motor has undergone bearing replacement with sealed bearings, the original bearings showed no use but the grease had run out of them from sitting. The original bearings were double shielded only, that should not happen again. The new bearings are not cheap made in China rubbish. But are an expensive FAG high speed premium set. Rest assured this motor is well prepared for severe duty and longevity. You are buying today 1 used Robbins& Myers 3 PH 2 HP re-connectable motor 208/220 or 440V electric motor. This motor was replaced on a Powermatic 66 table saw with a single phase motor. 220V amp draw 5.4. 208V amp draw 5.8. 440V draw 2.7. This is a heavy duty motor. Code J. Shaft size 3/4" Keyed 3/16" x 2 5/16" long. The bearings rumbled some when test running motor after it was removed from saw. We have replaced both bearings with new ones for this sale. This motor will fit many other applications besides the model 66 saw; requiring a"C" frame mount. Mount has 4 3/8-16(NC) tappings on 5 7/8 BC and 4 1/2 dia. pilot. ANTIQUE 19th CENTURY JAPANESE KATAGAMI KIMONO STENCIL ART Edo or Meiji Period. This is Ise Katagami. Stencil around 1800- 1899. This special katagami was only made in Ise, Mie prefecture to make kimono patterns.Katagami(型紙) or Ise-katagami is the Japanese art of making paper stencils for kimono printing. The art is traditionally centred around the city of Ise in Mie Prefecture. Multiple layers of thin washi paper are bonded with a glue extracted from persimmon, which makes a strong flexible brown coloured paper. The paper is cut with a combination of knives and punches. Four principal cutting techniques are used. 1.Pulling the knife towards the artist, which results in long straight cuts. 2.Carving patterns, which allows for figurative designs. 3.Cutting circular holes, often in fan-like designs 4.Using shaped punches. The designs can be ... moreextremely intricate, and consequently fragile. Nowadays the stencils are sometimes sold as artworks, attached to hand fans, or used to decorate screens and doors in Japanese rooms. For kimono printing the stencils are stabilized by attaching them to a fine silk net. In past times, human hair was used instead of silk, but silk is less likely to warp and can be finer. The printing is done with a resist dyeing technique. Rice paste is passed through the stencil onto silk. When dyed, the colour does not adhere to the areas with rice paste.
