If you ever want to see what condition your 2710 is in let it warm up properly then go to the utility menu(by pressing Util button) and select normalizations(selection button 3) then select all normalizations(selection button 0) if your unit passes all normalizations then it is in pretty good shape but to find any sections that fail this type of test you select the service normalization section of the menu and it will display for each section what failed or passed. The knobs are in good condition. Two of the knobs have rough spots along the back/flat edges. They all have minor surface scratches and need to be cleaned. Western Electric Crank Lineman's Test Equipment Telephone complete and original. Early 1900's. Model 17E. All wood cabinet, dovetail joints. Painted army green, the paint show normal wear from use. All wires and components are intact. The leather shoulder strap is complete but is in two pieces due to its age. The phone measures 9 1/2" high, 6 1/2 wide, and 5 1/4 deep.
