The LO supplies a sweep signal with a frequency range of 3.0 to 6.6 GHz for use by the front end modules, tracking generator, external mixer interface module or any other module or device requiring a signal. The video processor digitizes the video signal received from the IF module and processes this signal using normal(Rosenfell) positive peak, negative peak, or sample detection.
