Bridgeport Round Ram M-Head Milling Machine with Power Feed Table This is a nice old Round Ram Bridgeport Milling Machine. This Bridgeport is one of the smaller Bridgeport Milling machines but this"little" bridgeport still weighs somewhere in the area of 1500 pounds! The M-head is a very good variable speed head that can do some pretty major jobs. The head of this machine still has the 3-phase motor and I will be selling a power converter in a seperate auction that will allow this 3-phars motor to be run off of single phase 220 power or there are suppliers of single phase 220 morors that can be used to run this off of typical house power. The power feed table works fine and and the everything to my knowledge is on the milling machine that is supposed to be here. The spare arm on the rear of the head is intended to mount a second ... morehead so if you wanted a milling machine for a shop and you might need either a shaper head or perhaps even a larger J head you could attach one of these to the opposite arm and rotate the mill's head to use one or the other. I have had this mill for several years as I had plans to start doing machining work and it is just not going to happen. Please check my auther auctions for a huge New Hermes engraving machine that could engrave metal. An Atlas Metal Lathe, and possibly other tools that I will be listing. This will need to be picked up by the buyer. This mill is mounted on a fresh skid that I built including 4x4 bases and doubled up 11/16 plywood base. It is sitting on a junk pallet jack that I sat it on to allow me to move this thing around the garage but to get this onto a truck will require a fork lift or man power. It took five pretty good sized guys to get this from the shop and into my garage so plan accordingly or there is a business close to my home that will rent a fork lift and we could use that to load on your trailer or truck. A local Vocational Trade School is in the process of closing its Machine Shop program. As a result there will be an assortment of Tools and Accessories available for sale. I will list these items as they are released for disposition. I will do my best to describe these items as accurately as possible. However. Sale is final so please feel free to a sk any questions that you might have. Thank You One of the satellite machine shops is presently being liquidated. The Lathe Chucks. Face Plates and other miscellaneous tools that have been in storage are now being released for disposition. Offered here is a Bridgeport Gear Box Power Feed that was apparently slated to be reconditioned and installed on one of the Bridgeport Milling Machines. However. The program closed prior to the work being completed. Following is my assessment of the power feed ... morebased on my visual inspection: I opened up the cover in order to inspect the gears and shafts. Everything looked fine. I did not notice any broken gear teeth and the shafts and brackets looked good. The only thing that will need attention is that the Hi-Lo gears are stuck in position. This gear box has been sitting unused for a long time so I don't know if it is stuck on the key or dirt, but it will need to be freed up. That looks to be the only issue, other than that it needs a good cleaning and lubrication. The motor drive is a Master 1/8 H.P. Motor. It is wired for 440 volts/ 3 phase. I did not see the motor under power and I have no way to test it. The shaft spins freely. Other than that I can not give an opinion as to condition. All in all this looks like it would be well worth the effort to put it into full operating condition. If it is needed for parts that would work as well. I have the screw that was used with this box, it looks a little worn but it is offered at no additional cost except for the cost of packing and shipping.

This is a factory Bridgeport X Axis power feed unit. Model 8F. It was removed from a former Boeing 1996 dated machine about 5 years ago and was working when removed. It has been stored in a dry climate controlled shop but it HAS NOT been tested and I CAN NOT GUARANTEE it will function. The cord was cut at about 6 1/2 feet when it was removed. The plastic fuze holder on the front is loose and the plastic cable grommet for the small cord on the back of the control unit is loose. The Baldor motor alone is over 600.00 new, this unit is a bargain even if it's only used for spare parts! T-slot table is in decent condition with minor drill marks and scratches in the table and one t-slot break at the end of the table see photo. The Tibon ways have minor wear nice scraping. Backlash is less than 1/4 turn in the X and 1/4 turn in the Y. The Bridgeport power feed on the X does work. I can convert this mill to 110v for $160 with a VFD. This mill runs great. Power down feed and kickout work fine. This machine can be picked up from my shop which is 10 miles south and east of downtown Saint Louis. Missouri, forklift loading is free. Bridgeport J-Head Gear Feed motor(Power Feed) X Axis. Those of you who need it certainly should know what this is for. Unfortunately. I will not be able to answer any questions, because I do not know too much about it other then my garage is not wired for it. It will need a switch and switch cover and three Allen bolts to hook it up to your Bridgeport mill. It came off a Bridgeport J head milling machine. I do Hope someone can use it to replace there defective one or if they do not have a power feed. It weighs approximately 40- 50 lbs. Good luck bidding!

Offered here is a Servo Power Feed that came off of a Bridgeport Milling Machine. The feed is a type 90. 91893G-B. I put power to the feed and the indicator light went on, the motor turns both forward and reverse, the Variable Speed works and the limit switch turns the motor off. Servo Model 70 power feed for Bridgeport milling machine
Servo Model 70 Power Feed for a Bridgeport milling machine. This is complete with all the parts necessary to install it- gear for lead screw. Bolts, shims and handle nut- there are, however, no stops for the limit switch. It even includes all the original instructions, parts and repair instructions and drawings. It runs fine, however the stop pin is broken that limits the handle travel when you move it right or left to engage the feed. The cord is also frayed where it goes into the limit switch for the table travel. According to a Servo expert I spoke with, he thinks it's a broken roll pin inside the unit. He also indicated that this is a pretty complicated unit to work on. If you can live with no lever stop, this will work as is. Otherwise, you can repair it or use it for spare parts. This unit is obsolete There are a couple companies ... morethat work on them. But the spare parts are no longer made and the supply is limited.
