There is a plate or sticker on the scale showing that in 1942 the City of Cincinnati Department of Safety examined and sealed the scale and lists I. Van Cleeff as Supt. of Markets. Weights, Measures Office, 6 th& Plum Market House Cincinnati. Ohio. The scale has a very small pull out drawer at the bottom.
