This is a BOSCH ZE1 HIGH TENSION. HOT SPARKING" magneto with a 6 1/4" 60 tooth fiber gear. It has an advance/retard lever on it. May be for a motorcycle, boat or some other type of vehicle. The mounting bolt pattern looks like 2" x 1 7/8" I have no idea what engine this low tension magneto came off. And do not see any cracks, breaks or repairs on this“HOT” magneto. Otherwise the covers show modest small stains and wear but are essentially in very nice shape. The forward reads. Witte Model B oil well engine not hit miss
For sale is a Witte model B 10 HP oil field pump jack engine. It is set up to run on well head gas. Easy conversion to propane. Clutch works as it should. There are no breaks or welds on this engine. It has been kept inside since removed from the well. All I did was clean the points, prime it with gasoline and it started on the first turn after sitting 10 years. It carries great oil pressure, no knocks or smoke and is very smooth running, sits still on the skids at all RPMs. I have not tried to run it on natural gas or propane but see no reason why it would not work as it should. I do not have a starting crank handle. I will not ship this item. We can load it with a forklift. Please read the terms carefully. They are not complicated. This item must be picked up. I will not ship it. It also must be paid for at time of pick up and within 7 ... moredays of end of auction unless you have made other arrangements prior to bidding. Original Alma McVicker Hit Miss Gas Engine Catalog Steam Tractor Magneto Oiler
This is a very nice ORIGINAL sales catalog for McVicker hit and miss gas engines made by the Alma Manufacturing Company in Alma. Michigan. It came from the estate of a very early engine collector and measures about 6 x 9 inches with 28 pages. It shows all of the features and variations of the Gilson engines that were available back in the day. It is in good condition with some wear and soiling. There is a 2 1/2 inch tear in the edge of the cover and the center pages have come loose from the staples. All of the pages are present and in good condition. These original catalogs are extremely tough to find in the wild and they really make a display more complete when they accomodate an engine at the shows. The pictures tell the story on this piece. It covers sales information, engine specifications& features of Stover hit and miss stationary engines. This brochure wad printed in 1926 and has 8 pages. The condition of this brochure is fair, it has yellowing paper pages that are stapled. Some of the pages have pulled through the staples and some have torn away from the opposite pages. There is a crease where the booklet wad folded at some point, but the book appears that it was designed to be folded. There is minor dirt and finger prints on all pages, but for the age it's not bad. Old POWELL Lubricator Hit Miss Gas Gasoline Oil Engine Oiler Sales Catalog BOOK
This auction is for an early Wm. POWELL Lubricating and Oiling Specialties for Gas. Gasoline and Oil Engines sales catalog. It has 14 pages and has some nice illustrations of oilers priming cups, drain cocks, rod oilers and other items. It measures approx. 7 3/4" X 5 3/4" and is in nice condsition, but does have a fold crease across the center. I would guess this is from before 1910 by looking at the engine on the cover. Hello and welcome to my auction. Here is a nice old original Witte How To Judge Engines no 48 book. This has lots of great pictures some are in color. There is even a center foldout which is the picture of the larger engine. This measures 10 in by 13. There is some spine wear which I have taken a picture of.
