Gasoline Engines(Type"LA" Equipped with IHC Type"H-1" Magneto. Presented by International Harvester Company 180 North Michigan Ave. Chicago Illinois. U. S. A. The identity of this manual is MC-D 5043. 2-10-41(which I believe is the printing date) 10B. The manual measures 6 1/2 inches left to right and 9 1/2 inches top to bottom and contains 9 sheets which includes the covers. The content of this manual are: Front Cover as seen in first picture of this listing. Specifications pages 2& 3, Lubrication pages ... more3, Starting the Engine page 4, 5, 6, Magneto(IHC TYPE H-1) page 7& 8, and a blank sheet for the back cover. The manual is in nice condition with some small slight pressure indentations in the paper covers and some age yellowing especially on the covers and the edges. There is a slight crease vertically toward the right side of the manual as can be seen in the front cover picture. The pages are staple bound and all are tight and stable while the staples are slightly rusted as would be expected from humidity. The manual is free of writing or other markings and the covers show some friction smudges but the manual is free of any grease smudges. This is a great ORIGINAL(not a reprint) piece of Ephemera from the past issued by International Harvester Co. and would be a real asset to the owner of one of these engines or even as a collection piece so bid now!
