But then you don't put a filter on top of a skylight filter! Most are in good condition, some may have dust, scratches, or fingerprints. If you want to do some experiments with Vaseline, diffraction(scratching) etc, this is your deal! I have acquired these over the years from lenses that I bought. I don't normally use skylight or UV filters.
