Up for auction is a Vintage Nemrod Snark II Silver Single Hose Regulator. Serial# 20317. It was made in Spain in the 1950s or 60s by Nemrod, a famous manufacturer who ceased to exist towards the end of the 20th Century. It is is in very nice shape as you can see from the pics and has not been cleaned. Tested or taken apart. The hose is still flexible and I didn't notice any signs of cracks or rot. There is a little oxidation in places and the expected scratches and scrapes. As the pictures show. I wouldn't recommend using this item for actual underwater use without at least a safety check. If not a full overhaul. Sold as is without warranty.

It was built in 1932 in the'art deco' style and was featured in our twice award winning"Haleiwa: A Pictorial History" book. Who was known as a big wave rider, also liked to surf small to medium size waves at this break, Waimea, Sunset, Haleiwa, Makaha, and Chunn's Reef. Edward Ryan Aikau, who was born on Maui in 1946 was lost at sea during a ocean disaster on the Hokule'a ancient sailing canoe replica in 1978. During an extremely hazardous storm, the double hulled canoe capsized and Aikau left on a surfboard in an attempt to paddle for help, he was never seen again. He will always be remembered as a true Hawaiian surfing legend and a surfing friend of mine. Ironically it was the late big wave surfer Mark Foo who came up the term"Eddie Would Go" which actually refered to the fact that Eddie would go for it on the biggest waves that other surfers refused, often taking off on the other side of the bowl at Waimea on giant days! Aikau was a personal friend of the photographer and gave us permission to sell this photo before he passed away and we hope it will help preserve his memory in Hawaii surfing history. Wonderful five piece vanity/dresser set manufactured by Wallace in the Normandie pattern. Mirror measures over 14 inches. This like all the other items has NOT been monogrammed. Beveled mirror does have some black small black spots to it but nothing overly distracting. Brush measures approx. 10 inches and in excellent condition also. The 7+ inch brush does have some old silver polish residue on it otherwise in excellent condition with all teeth present. Set has two approx. 5 1/2 by 2 1/4 jars with etched rose. Flower and leaf pattern repeated three times on glass with impressed thumbnail pattern also repeated three times. Again NO MONOGRAMS. Set is tarnished as shown but as with any antique item felt it best to leave as found. This a substantial set with a hefty silver content. The two lids on the jars weigh in excess of five ounces. This listing includes the 4 sterling silver handle brushes shown. 4 different patterns, all are signed sterling and need polishing. The bristles are very worn and loose on the 4 brushes, sold as described. The largest brush measures approximately 6 3/8 inches including the horse hair type bristles x 3 3/4 inches wide at the sterling frame, has a few small dents no monogram. The next brush measures 6 1/4 x 3 inches wide at the sterling frame,has a monogram and some small dents. It has wonderful repousse work done all along the handle with intricate art nouveau designs from the Victorian era. The handle is in wonderful overall condition with no dings or dents. It has great dark patina showing it's age. It is stamped Sterling. The clippers are not sterling and some of the plating is flaking off on the bottom side and clipper front. The clippers have a push button top to make them go down and they still close tight and work! Overall this piece is in great condition for it's age! Two vintage sterling silver Clothe brushes chicken mark
A set of two vintage sterling silver cloth brushes. May be old Gorham because there is a chicken mark similar to the old mirror I have listed on ebay right now. But I am not an expert on silver. both brushes are marked 308 with one having a clear chicken mark the other is wore. Both say sterling on the other ends. One is more wore than the other. There is also some other marking above where sterling is stamped but very wore, kind of looks like a letter G. The pieces are 5 1/2" long and 3 1/2' wide. Both have very nice flower motifs. Art nouveau design? Wood base with bristles. I am offering for sale. An Antique. Made in Austria, Sterling Silver and Guilloche Enamel, Dresser Set, Mirror and Brush. They are in Very Good Condition. Mirror is 4 1/2 x 14 1/2 inches, full vertical crack on mirror. Brush is 3 1/4 x 10 1/4 inches, no problems. Absolutely gorgeous pieces, wonderful enameling, painted images on each. Bristles on brush are in very good shape, no cracks or chips, in the enameling. Gold plating on the Sterling Silver. They are marked Made in Austria, 93, Sterling Silver.
