Art Nouveau Fuschia pattern sterling silver ink blotter roller. It is hallmarked sterling on the handle and this measures 3 1/2" in length. Beautiful fuschia flowers on handle. The roller is approx 3" wide has a diameter is 1 1/4" and is covered in blotting paper to absorb the excess ink. it is in good clean condition. There are no dents in the handle at all. Here is an outstanding piece for the collector of eagles. Printing items or general Americana. This is an antique(c1860- 1900) newspaper printing press plate of an American Eagle with a banner in its beak. The banner is blank and would have been a place to put an appropriate message of the day. It is solid brass mounted on wood block. It fine detail reflects the state of the art engraving of the era. It measures 6" by 2 1/4" Affixed to the reverse side is a printing on paper of the plate image. It gives and even greater sense of the high quality and detail of the engraving. There is some very faint pencil writing in the banner that appears to be a trace from an impish young man. It reads"Bob" and"Class of 86. I is hardly noticeable without close examination. Vintage Hamilton Wooden Print Type Set Drawer 103 Sections Shadow Box w Hangers
Up for sale is a very old Hamilton Mfg. Co. Printing Type Set Drawer that has 103 compartments in it. Each of the compartment are undamaged and are in good vintage shape and vary in height to put different sized collectables in it. the sections are 7/8 inches deep with the exception of the bottom shelf which is 1 1/8 inches deep.The back has 2 hangers already on it so it must have been used as a shadowbox before I purchased it. There is a very small section on the left hand side(as you face it) that had some wood splinter off. It is slight but you can seen the lighter color in the picture. I took 2 picture of the divider wood pieces that had words inprinted on it. I adjusted the sharpness and color to help you see it. I didn't notice any other listing mention it so I don't know if it is unusual or not. One says"NEW DEPARTURE ... morePATENTED" on it and the other says"THE HAMILTON MFG. CO. TWO RIVERS WIS. Varn Kompac II automatic dampening system for Chief 17 Offset Press
This Kompac II automatic dampening system with Kolormate was still working fine when we removed from press. Junking press) Rollers are in good condition. Several cleaning seals go with it. It was mounted on a Chief 17 but I guess could be used on other presses with the right mounting hardware. To the best of my knowledge all the hardware to mount to a Chief 17 is included. I tried to tape most of the screws to the pieces they went with so as to make remounting easier. The cover has been altered as you can see from the photos. So cover is not in original condition.
