Challenge Machinery Co. Lapping Plate
It has been used a couple of times in my shop and proved to be a very good tool. It probably needs a good resurfacing on a big Mattison surface grinder with cleanup on top and bottom. for flat and parallel. On a Mattison you will get flat and parallel within.0005 or better overall. It works fine the way is is though. I used a variety of compound on some different parts that required a very low RMS finish. I will secure this item on a standard pallet ready for pickup. The buyer needs to make the transportation arrangements and notify me before hand on when to expect the carrier so I can make local arrangements to borrow a lift truck.
