I came up with this ... moredesign and decided to make my own. The bag works well and, by having the 2" gusset around the side, I can use the full 12 inches of surface for shaping panels. I do automotive upholstery for a living and make these metal shaping/panel forming shot bags. Or beater bags, in my upholstery shop. I use high quality, thick, oil-tanned leather for the bag. It's double-stitched all the way around and I use hook& loop fastener for the fill hole, as well as a screw stud to ensure it never pops open while using it. The bottom piece is reversed to expose the rough side of the leather which aids in keeping the bag in place while working with it. I've had good luck with using play sand from the local home improvement store for fill material. It's economical and easy to get. The first picture is the bag I use. Shown on my home-made stand so you can see how the bag looks after filled with sand. Please note that the price is for one empty 12-inch panel bag and none of the tools seen in the photos or fill material is included.

Vibratory finishing cleaning machine
This is a real nice and well-built heavy vibratory cleaner. It is made by L.S. Industries. This machine is just not being used anymore. It has done a great job many years and still works good. It has been painted and the only broken spring was replace to put it back in great shape. It has three counter weights that can be easy adjusted to change the agitation. This allows for a heavy or light shaker to handle your parts. It has a long cord that I guess is close to 10 ft. It sets on three rubber mounts so no problem with level. The dimensions are(Machine) L-48in W-38in H-48in(Chamber) L-28in W-16in H-16in. It is 220 volt single phase and has a 110 socket on back for recirculating pump. The machine has a separate tank for fluid run off. it also has drain top so parts can drain or dry. It has some worn ceramic rock in it now and could go right ... moreto work but will need to be renewed.
