Used Superior hone model AM with extensive tooling NO RESERVE
You are bidding on a used Superior hone model AM serial number 7502-6 with extensive tooling. The overall size is 27" wide x 37" deep and 49" tall. The work table is 26"x16" It comes with a multi level coolant tank with filter. It does come with a pump. But I believe the pump does not work and may need to be repaired or replaced. The machine itself works extremely well. All the bearing are tight and have all been inspected and run properly. Although it is an older machine, it is obviously well maintained and extremely good condition. There is a company, Tennessee Abrasives that still make all the tooling for Superior Hones. It also comes with a 18 drawer cabinet that is 34"x12"x11" and is full of tooling, both new and used. There are at least 16 arbors and hundreds of stones. THIS IS A SUNNEN MODEL MBC-1802 PRECISION HONNING MACHINE WITH POWER STROKING. SERIAL# 81748. THIS MACHINE HAS ALL THE ORIGIONAL PAINT ON IT. YEAR BUILT 1977. IT CAME OUT OF LAPMASTER INTERNATIONAL. ITS GOT A 1 HP 220 3 PHASE MOTOR. THE POWER STROKING IS ADJUSTABLE FROM 1/4"6" THE SPINDLE SPEED FOR THE HONES IS 200-2500 RPM. I HAD IT RUNNING OVER THE WEEKED AND EVEYTHING WORKS JUST FINE ON IT EXCEPT FOR THE CUTTING OIL PUMP. LOOKS LIKE THEY PUT A SMALL SUBMERSABLE PUMP IN IT THATS NOT WORKING. I HAVE A MANUAL COMMING IN FOR IT AND MY REPAIR MAN WILL FIX THE PROBLEM SO IT WORKS PROPERLY BEFORE IT GOES OUT. YOU CAN ALSO USE THIS MACHINE MANUALLY WITH THE FOOT PEDAL.
