Thermal Shock Test Chamber
This is a used MEI thermal shock chamber with pneumatic elevator to move the parts from the cold to hot and back again. This was built by a company that is no longer in business and it's a pretty well built machine and has some really nice controls. It has a Watlow F4 programmable controller. The two belt drive motors that provide the drive for the cooling blowers are very heavy duty and expensive. Both motors have their own variable speed motor controls that allow you to easily vary the the blower speed. The air actuated Ln2 control valve has a leaky stem seal but otherwise is in great shape. The valve has been disassembled and we could replace the seal for a small fee or you could replace the valve with one of your own choosing. A proportional valve would be optimal becasue the Watlow can provide proportional outputs. The inside compartments ... moreof the chamber are 24"D X 27"W x 13"H.
