It has HEAT and COOL(Refrigeration) modes along with HUMIDIFY and DE-HUMIDIFY modes. The insides of the testing area are all Stainless Steel. It does have two bulk-head fittings(holes into test area from outside) to allow venting or tubing to be run to your test products, The testing area is about 20" wide by 20" high by 16" deep. This is a nice simple basic testing chamber that is easy to work on. Replacement Parts are available for it from Tenney. It is in very good condition. You will need to check with Tenney as to the min and max temperature and humidity levels it can reach. I am not sure. I did use this unit for my own testing purposes. I know it was able to go over boiling point for me and it would get cool enough for all the testing purposes I required. It will reach about 98% dry bulb humidity and will take samples to very low humidity levels. It would hold the ranges pretty accurately both sometimes I did adjust the Temperature/Humidity Controllers to fine tune certain set points to maintain more accurate conditions. Overall, I was very pleased with this unit. I just do not need it for testing purposes anymore. A great general purpose testing chamber.

Large 285 cubic foot WALK-IN Tenney Engineering Environmental Chamber WITH HUMIDITY CONTROL. 32KW heating. 30 hp refrigeration compressor. 70C? to 100C+? temperature range. 20 CATEGORIES for other items of interest. Currently over store items listed. 1197 The chamber of this unit is more than twice as large as any we have had to date. The chamber is about 9.5 feet long. 5 feet wide and 6 feet tall. This calculates to about 285 cubic feet. Overall dimensions are about 17' long by 6.5 wide by 9 tall. The refrigeration systems originally used R-502 and R-13 but the placard indicates a conversion to R-404A-we assume for the 502. R-404A is readily available where R-13 is about impossible to find. We assume the refrigerant has been evacuated and will need to be replaced once this unit is delivered to its final destination. It would thus need ... morethe oil changed on the R-13 side to us R-23. R508B or SUVA 95 as a replacement. NOTE THIS UNIT HAS ONLY ONE COMPRESSOR AND WAS LAST RUN WITH THIS CONFIGURATION. Skimming through all the documentation the last couple hours. I have concluded it was designed for-70 to 100 degrees C. Humidity is supposed to be variable from 20 to 90% RH over the temperature range of 20 to 90 C. The humidity charts indicate as low as 5% and as high as 98% but you can't reach those extremes at every temperature. The components seem to be rated for considerably broader range of temperature. The main controller can be set from-100 to +300C. There is 30HP of refrigeration compressor and 32KW of electric heating. My guess is the unit would do 200C just fine as long as you are not trying to do humidity at the same time(you might have to reconfigure temp controller max setting and replace fuseable link. Standard on the low temp side is-40C but this unit was specially over sized to go to-70C and to handle an active testing load of 10KW. This is a used Tenney 20 cu ft environmental chamber with humidity. Chamber has a temperature range from-40 to 200 deg C and a humidity range of 20 to 95% Being that this chamber has an internal air-cooled condenser it is completely self-contained and only requires line power and small water lines for the humidity system. We powered up the chamber and ran it down to-40 deg C and it took a few extra minutes to get there than the original specs but once there it maintained the temp very well for a few hours during our test. A Very Nice TENNEY TH JR Environmental Testing Chamber. It has Digital Temperature and Humidity Control. It has two adjustable and removable racks/shelves. The Testing Chamber controls both the Temperature and Humidity levels. It has HEAT and COOL(Refrigeration) modes along with HUMIDIFY and DE-HUMIDIFY modes. The insides of the testing area are all Stainless Steel. It does have two bulk-head fittings(holes into test area from outside) to allow venting or tubing to be run to your test products, The testing area is about 20" wide by 20" high by 16" deep. This is a nice simple basic testing chamber that is easy to work on. Replacement Parts are available for it from Tenney. It is in very good condition. You will need to check with Tenney as to the min and max temperature and humidity levels it can reach. I am not sure. I did ... moreuse this unit for my own testing purposes. I know it was able to go over boiling point for me and it would get cool enough for all the testing purposes I required. It will reach about 98% dry bulb humidity and will take samples to very low humidity levels. It would hold the ranges pretty accurately both sometimes I did adjust the Temperature/Humidity Controllers to fine tune certain set points to maintain more accurate conditions. Overall, I was very pleased with this unit. I just do not need it for testing purposes anymore. A great general purpose testing chamber.
