Bemco Temperature chamber for fitment on two and four post universal testing machines. Chamber provides a temperature controlled environment from-100 to 1000 deg F for specimens under tensile and/or compressive loads. The chamber is mounted on a special stand that supports the weight of the chmaber so it does not need to mount to the universal testing machine. Stand is the rear loading stradle type and it lifts the chamber with a hydraulic cylinder. The are no hydraulic controls or supply included. Only the lifting cylinder. The unit was tested up to 800 Deg and it worked very well. The blower motor is very quiet and the controller maintains the setpoint to within a few degrees. The overtemp controller is mounted in the rear of the chamber and is adjustable via screw driver through the rear electrical panel. Being the chamber is an older model there are scratches and minor dings and due to the higher temperature capability. The interior stainless steel is has been darkened but none of these flaws prevent it from being presentable. A Very Nice TENNEY TH JR Environmental Testing Chamber. It has Digital Temperature and Humidity Control. It has two adjustable and removable racks/shelves. The Testing Chamber controls both the Temperature and Humidity levels. It has HEAT and COOL(Refrigeration) modes along with HUMIDIFY and DE-HUMIDIFY modes. The insides of the testing area are all Stainless Steel. It does have two bulk-head fittings(holes into test area from outside) to allow venting or tubing to be run to your test products, The testing area is about 20" wide by 20" high by 16" deep. This is a nice simple basic testing chamber that is easy to work on. Replacement Parts are available for it from Tenney. It is in very good condition. You will need to check with Tenney as to the min and max temperature and humidity levels it can reach. I am not sure. I did ... moreuse this unit for my own testing purposes. I know it was able to go over boiling point for me and it would get cool enough for all the testing purposes I required. It will reach about 98% dry bulb humidity and will take samples to very low humidity levels. It would hold the ranges pretty accurately both sometimes I did adjust the Temperature/Humidity Controllers to fine tune certain set points to maintain more accurate conditions. Overall, I was very pleased with this unit. I just do not need it for testing purposes anymore. A great general purpose testing chamber.
