I have up for auction Two Vintage GM Skan Light Meters that are made slightly different from each other. Plus One Weston Model 853. Serial# 59440 is on the Skan with the strap and Serial# 89175 is on the other Skan. I can find no number on the Weston. All three meters are clean and show very little wear. The Skan meters are from GM Laboratories in Chicago and the Weston has Newark NJ on it. The pointers on all three meters move freely. I am selling a MFJ-969 Roller Inductor transmatch. It has lighted Cross Needle meter. Built in dummy load, switching for several antenna types from coax to open wire with 4:1 balun and long wire. MFJ says it reads true peak forward power. Powered by external DC or has provisions for using a 9 Volt internal battery. This was purchased at an estate sale and I tested it on my antenna. It tuned smoothly and dipped SWR to zero. It is in great condition and I would have kept it myself but I run more than the 300 watts that this tuner can handle. I am selling as-is no returns as I do not know if the buyer will connect a 2 KW transmitter to it. You can see from the internal pictures there are no signs of arcs or other problems. Vintage Denon Cassette Deck model DR-330. 3 Head, Analog Meters, Tape, Silver
Denon DR-330 Cassette Deck 3-Head. Full Logic Controls For sale is a vintage Denon tape deck model DR-330. It is in very good condition. And working 100% The sound quality of this unit is outstanding. All of the lights are working, and both analog meters work perfectly as well. This model was manufactured in Japan in 1980. And it was the top Denon model at the time. I have fully tested this unit and everything is working. Playback. Recording, fast forward, rewind, cueing, pause, tape counter, headphone jack, line-in, line-out, microphone inputs, Dolby NR. It all works. This is a 120 volt. 60 Hz model, designed for North America. The heads. Capstan, pinch roller, tape guides have all been properly cleaned, and all the controls have been sprayed with Nu-Trol contact cleaner with lubricant(it's MG Chemicals equivalent to De-Oxit) I did not ... moredemagnetize the head or capstan because I do not have access to a demagnetizer. I also did not replace the belts, because they are in good condition and do not need replacing. There are some condition issues with the deck. Please see all pictures to judge the condition. There are a couple of small cracks in the plexi-glass window of the cassette door. The input level knob looks like it isn't completely straight, and the plastic housing surrounding the control buttons is a little bit loose on the left hand side. It does stay in place just fine, and there is no visible indication that it is loose. You just have to be careful when lifting the unit not to place your hand on that housing. I have not tried to straighten the input level knob, or fix the button housing. I think both things could be fixed easily, but I will leave it up to the buyer to decide what to do. The deck works and looks completely fine as it is. These are not major issues in my opinion. T here are some scratches on the top from stacking components. And a few small marks here and there. I bought this about 5 years ago. Thinking that with the great AM reputation they have, I would round up a power supply and get it on AM. Never found a power supply, so that time has come and gone. Covering 80-6 with a build-in VFO has made them popular as drivers on AM. Original knobs, crisp lettering, very good front panel, clear dial numbers, original meter and the original feet on the cabinet. The cabinet is not damaged or modified and the original paint is excellent with a few marks. It is missing a 12AU7 tube inside as I received it. It's clean inside. As 6 meter AM has made a come back in some major cities around the country this would be a not often seen rig to check into the local net if you are in one of those markets. It is in excellent cosmetic condition for it's age with some scratches on the RH side. Original knobs. Crisp lettering, S meter, excellent front panel, clear dial numbers and built-in speaker. Included is the microphone and AC power cable. The cabinet is not damaged and the original finish is excellent with some marks. These were rated at 10 watts output, but when bench tested the transmitter would key with the PTT but no output. Murch HF Tuner Model UT-2000A. Comes with Installation and Operating Instructions. Tuning coil has burnt spot on one end. Shows high SWR on all bands. Needs coil replaced. You can see spot in one of the pictures. Has some marks and scratches. This is a 2KW 80 through 10 meter roller inductor-centric antenna tuner known as"The Ultimate Transmatch. This tuner has proved its reliable performance for both high-power and low-power rigs for decades. This particular unit is in excellent electrical and physical-performance condition. There are only three basic electrical components: two air variable capacitors. And a long, sturdy roller inductor. One capacitor has a split stator providing a total of 500 pf. The other has one stator and provides 200 pf. The roler inductor provides a maximum of roughly 18 microhenrys.
