Scuba diving regulator vintage Poseidon 2305 DIN/yolk 1st stage collector's item
Up for auction is a vintage POSEIDON 2305 DIN/YOLK 1st STAGE I disassembled& ultrasonic cleaned it on 21 December 2012& lubricated all the threaded areas but don't have the filter or seat to give it a full service. It's the model with metric threads& has a couple of adapters to 3/8" UNF- one for low pressure& the other for the old high pressure hoses. The hose ends seal against nylon seals. Which are still in position, rather than using o-rings. I didn't test it to see if it works, so please assume it doesn't. Selling strictly as a collector's item or for parts. The yolk. With the cute, tiny hand wheel, can of course be used to adapt other DIN regs to fit yolk valves. Cosmetically. It looks almost as good as new, though the two adapters have some chrome loss. Apeks DST turrent DIN 1st stage. ATX-40 second stage. Egress octo. Only ATX-40 has been used. It was used on only 13 dives. Mouthpiece has been replaced with a new one. 1st stage and octo have never been used. These were what I had left over after merging different styles/sets of regulators. Although the octo has never been used I noticed a small scratch on the side which won't affect it's functioning. Just disclosing it. As with all SCUBA and life support equipment. This should be checked over by a qualified technician before using.

This has just been a fantastic reg to me. I just don't use it that much. It has probably only seen 1-15 dives, I live in Michigan, so it has never seen any saltwater, only fresh(I used it in below 40 degree water 3 weeks ago to make sure it didn't have any issues, worked fantastic) I had it serviced professorially last August and every year since owned. I just took the lines off it to take the pictures. I am going to head over to my dive shop today to have them take one last look at it, and plug up the open holes so no moisture gets in it. It is in great condition, it is used, so it has a couple really small scratches that you have to search to find, they are cosmetic. Which will make the task of fitting them to A child’s ever-changing boot sizes much easier. DIN range is.75-4.5. I ran a file down the edges to clean and inspect for damage- cleaned up nicely! Bases will need tuned. But, again, no core shots, and no indication of previous Core shots or serious edge damage. Bases show only minor scratches.
