As a Novice in 1961 listening on a S-14 Hallicrafters I had a ham friend with one of these and thought if I could just own one I could work the world. Never got one. But over the last 40 years of collecting I have owned many and this one is a duplicate in the collection. This covers 160-6 meters, yes 6 meters, as the Technician license was very popular in the era. Original knobs. Crisp lettering, very good front panel, clear dial numbers, working S meter, adjustable BFO, antenna trimmer, Q Multiplier, xtal calibrator and more. The cabinet is not damaged or modified and the original paint is very good with a few scratches/scuffs/edge chips. Bench tested with a 20' indoor wire antenna. At first heard some very weak signals but all the control were very scratchy. Then I removed it from the cabinet, Used DeOxit on all the sockets, pots and ... morebandswitch. These are so cool and small are just under 2 inches across but just because they are small doesn't mean they are robust. They are very well built and heavy.
