One is a Ammeter Model 280 with patent dates of Jul.10. 94(1894) Jan.29, 98(1898) and Jul. 31, 17(1917) The other is Amperes A.C. Model 528. Both are in excellent condition. California This wattmeter has been tested by a electrical engineer friend recently. The meter reads right on the mark for a 60 watt light bulb I can’t guarantee on the accuracy of this meter. But I believe it does give accurate readings. You have to have knowledge on hooking up the meter to a current source. I got this vintage Weston DC Volt Meter with a large lot of vintage gauges and test equipment I recently purchased from the estate of a long time'Ham' radio guy. It is Weston model 430. P/N 7345 and measures low voltage DC volts. The meter's range is 0 to.5 volts. This meter has a bakelite case and I believe it dates to the 1940's, possibly earlier. It is 6" high to the top of the terminals X 5" wide X 3 1/2" deep. It has a still useable leather carry strap and feet on both the bottom and back. No way for me to test but needle moves freely. Has one broken knob on bottom right side. Case is to be expected for near 70 years old but no cracks or heavy dents. Matching original lid. Definitely a used, well cared for unit. Has calibration info up to 1986

NJ 5& 10 Amps Tested and sealed in Chicago by the Illinois Testing Laboratories Inc. Standardized July 22. 1929 This listing is for an antique Weston Model 310 Wattmeter. This is a beautiful antique piece that was designed for testing wattage on electrical equipment. This was made in 1929 by the Weston Electrical Instrument Corporation in Newark. New Jersey. The piece is built into a sturdy wood case(likely oak, but we're not certain) with an aluminum latch and hinges and the original leather carrying handle. The case is marked W16 on the exterior and has the number 100 stamped into the wood on the side of the case. The case opens up ... moreto reveal a panel on the left side with instructions and information on the use of this piece, and the right side is the actual wattage meter mechanism. The mechanism is built into a black metal housing with a number of attachments for testing different types of equipment and a large wattage meter in the center. This is a great antique piece that will be perfect for any vintage electronic equipment collectors! Condition: This piece is antique and used with some wear. The piece is untested and we do not know if it works or not. There is some wear to the wooden case with some scratches. Dings and discoloration from age. The leather handle is brittle. The meter itself appears to be in good condition with some light scratching and tarnishing on the finish. Overall this piece is in nice condition for display and has a nice antique patina that gives it that classic look. Please look closely at the photos and ask us any questions before bidding. kept up in nice cond was working last used and comes with original box as is so feel free to ask any questions some of the cords seem a bit worn but still work. And missing one tiny screw that mounts it to box all others there and other than that very nice shape, GREAT PRICE!

This listing is for a WESTON WATTS D.C. AND 25- 125 CYCLES MEASURING DEVICE. This item measures approximately 5" x 5 1/8" x 3 1/4" The condition is very good to excellent from a physical standpoint.
