Howdy. I think these old industrial electrical items are so cool! What a steampunk modern industrial look all mixed into one! Dad bought these cool old fuses and thyrite resistor slabs from old power plants and power poles& brought them home. All I could see was candle holders and kitchen trivets galore! The huge fuse is 5 inches across and 8.5 inches tall! It looks like it has a huge old bottle cap on each end! The thing weighs over 11 pounds! The two thyrite slabs(trivets) are 6 inches across. one weighs right under 2 pounds and the other 2.5 pounds. They have the GE stamp still visible. How cool.
