Another NJ amp manufacturer before he started the Hilgen company- he did associate closely with Ampeg's founders. Came with 2 7591A, 1 5AR4(GZ34) And 2 12AX7As for about 25-35 watts. This B2501 has a date code on the Heppner speaker 575521 of 21st week of 1965 and the chassis is stamped B2967. I bench tested the amp and checked all the caps with a Sencore Z meter and replaced anything that was either leaking ... moreor out of spec more than 10% Most caps were in very good condition. I only had to replace a few electrolytic caps as can be seen in the photos. The amp sounds very good and has a Ampeg type sound. There is a small hole in the speaker but it doesn't seem to effect the sound. I have a solid state rectifier plug in the amp but will include the GZ34 rectifier tube as well. I've had this amp for a few years and absolutely love it but I have bills to pay and sadly I'm going to have to get rid of it asap(my loss your gain, trust me) This amp has one of the prettiest clean sounds in the amplifier industry, especially for its size. Not to mention it comes with the famous Fender reverb. It also packs a punch and gets really loud past about 2-3 on the master volume knob. Great for small gigs or just jamming out and practicing. The amp is very lightweight for a tube amp with a 12-inch speaker which is another reason why it has become so popular. Like it says in the title, new tubes were put in this amp just for the auction because the other tubes had been in it for some time and I didn't want them failing on someone(although with tubes you never ... moreknow how long they will last) The new tubes definitely are noticeable and sound amazing, and are higher quality tubes than what comes stock. The amp also has distortion which gets just crunchy enough to play classic rock and of course the blues. Effects pedals work great with this little beast. Vintage 1971 Fender Bassman 50 tube amplifier original head and cab loaded with 2 15 inch vintage Fender speakers. Fully tested and functional. Head and cabinet have visual signs of exterior wear and tear but has no effect on performance. 1 knob has been replaced on the head and the front bulb on the power light needs to be replaced, but other than that everything is good to go. I took it completely apart and cleaned it as best I could, but it wouldn't hurt to have it professionally tuned due only to its age. Produces a deep rich sound thanks to the beautiful tubes and is a very sought after amp for both guitarists and bassists alike. This Hammond AO-15-C reverberation amplifier was removed from a working JR-20 Tone Cabinet. The amplifier is complete with all tubes and four shock-proof spring feet. So you will need some mineral oil to refill when ready to use) The original instruction sheet and cards from the JR-20 cabinet are included, which has maintenence and usage instructions. This model is a 60 Watt per channel(into 8-Ohms and 70 per channel into 4-Ohms) Solid State power amplifier that is actually two completely independent mono power amps attached to each other by one common faceplate. It’s two mono-blocks in one. So the two channels can never interfere with one another. It even has two power cords. Though one cord is very short and simply plugs into an AC outlet on the rear of the other amp. This is one of those great classic U.S. made Marantz amps that weighs ... morea ton and is built like a tank. This one is pretty special. In that it is also a harder-to-find 19-inch rack mount version with handles, and looks much cooler than the standard version. The amp is in amazingly good shape for its age. There are some scuffs on the front surface of the handles. There is some slight lifting of the black finish on the metal plate on the front. There are some round marks around the side faceplate holes where the screws were that once attached it to a rack It still looks stunning…just not mint. The Model 15 is made beautifully. It has low noise. Plenty of power and fantastic warmth and clarity. When I connected it to my system for a test run I was blown over by the combination of its warm. And tube-like sound(it has no tubes, though) and great dynamics and sound-staging. This amp is built like a brick…very compact. Yet very heavy. OPERATION: I used it in my system for a day and I found no operational issues. It sounds like I would expect of any vintage solid-state Marantz amp…warm. Musical, with great detail, a very wide soundstage, and vanishingly low noise. VERY IMPORTANT: This amp is old. And has capacitors that, I’m sure, should be replaced.

This is a pretty rare model with 2 6v6's and a 15" Utah speaker and what I have seen of this model is usually black and white- this one is a very sexy black and baby blue. Amp has been totally pro serviced- new power supply(cap job) Couple new pots, NOS mullard 6au6 for the tremolo(which sounds amazing) various other bits and pieces that it needed to run great. Filter Cap added to channel 2 to make it a hot channel(can be clipped out very easily if you want it original) Channel 1 unmodified- link the channels for tonal bliss!
