The Vox V9169 Cambridge 15 Amplifier The Cambridge 15 is a small hybrid 1x8" 15 watt combo amp that was introduced by Vox in 1999. It has all the Vox cosmetics right. Including gold string in the cabinet sides, top, and bottom. Later Vox models in the low to mid price range would drop this cosmetic touch. This was also one of the the first amps that Korg/Vox produced in significant numbers with black Vox grill. As were the original Thomas Vox Cambridge amps from 1965-1969. The Cambridge 15 has one 12AX7 tube in the preamp section. This tube adds both warmth and natural compression to the tone of a guitar. In addition to Volume. ONE used circuit breaker in working condition. Operational when removed from service due to an electrical upgrade. Continuity tested O.K. with test light. Terminal and buss bolt-on screws are included. Click OFF and ON nice, no rust, OFF and ON indicators work. This was the standard P1515 breaker(Circuit Limiting Type) with the black metal tab on the bottom of the breaker right below where it attaches to the panel buss. Some Pushmatic panels have half moon cut-outs in the panel buss for the metal tab breakers to fit, but most panels do not. Below is a picture showing Pushmatic panel interior buss that will work with the standard breakers that have the tabs. The silver buss bars on the right side have the half moon cut outs that will accept the twin breakers with the metal tab. The half moon cut outs are usually at a few of the lower breaker positions- not along the entire buss. The panel buss on the left side shows plain narrow buss with no notch. The standard breaker will also fit this type. Very rare to find them from the factory this way but I usually have some in my eBay store without the CLT tab you have the wide buss bars without the half moon cutout. Save some money and trouble and buy this. Here is a close up of a buss bar that will allow only one standard twin or duplex breaker. Premier® Premier B-220 Custom Bass Amp 1 x 15 This is a vintage Premier B-220 1x15" bass amplifier. The amp is fully functional and it sounds fantastic! Although this is called a bass amp. You can see that the inputs are labeled organ, accordion, elec. bass and guitar. This amp sounds fabulous as a low wattage bass amp and it would work very well for home or studio work and gigging in a small room. Many feel that it shines better with a harp or as a guitar amp. There are posts on the internet that say that you can very easily get classic tube distortion at reasonable volume(sorry. but I’m not a guitar player) The amp has very simple controls, volume, bass, treble, off, standby, on and line hum. It has the original Jensen 15" speaker and is covered in'60s-style faux“wood grain vinyl” fabric that is in very good condition. ... moreThis covering really makes it look great as a vintage instrument. Also, please check out the logo and grill cloth. You will not find many this good! The amp is dated to around 1964-65 and was purchased new by my father to use with his acoustic Kay upright bass and his 1970 Fender jazz bass. I also hve his jazz for sale on ebay. Please check it out! Note: There has been one modification that I am aware of. My father had a very nice small Ampeg head that he loved and would use this combination with either his Kay acoustic bass or his 1970 sunburst Fender Jazz(also for sell. included a couple of pics. please see my separate listing for his bass) He had this amp rewired so that you could use the“Accordion” jack as an external speaker cabinet. It was a lot lighter that his Ampeg twin stack! There is no slip cover case for this amp. There are two small“bump” indentations on the top. The vinyl is not punctured.
