Dental Lab Whip Mix Vaccumixer Combination unit Model D with mixing bowls
Up for auction is a used Whip Mix Combination Unit Model D for vacuum mixing and investing. Has a GE 115/230 volt. 1/4 hp motor. Currently is set up with a 120 volt plug. My brother owned a dental lab in the late 70's and 80's. He passed away and I still and dealing with the last of his equipment. I do not know how it functions but I can tell you a few things after plugging it in. When in the off position if you insert one of the mixing bowls it automatically starts to spin. Also if you turn the switch on it turns on and starts to spin. If I plug the vacuum inlet in the needle goes to 29/30. The unit says two speeds, I can't seem to figure out how to get to another speed. Also I do not know what the arm with the black handle is suppose to do. The unit comes with 3 mixing bowls.
