i don't know much about this instrument. on the motor it says emesco no. 30 by meisinger co. i was told this was some type of grinder drill used in dentistry. it has the splash hood and who ever used it last put tape on it ni guess so it wouldn't slide out and break. the base is cast iron and the backis aluminum. it still has the porcelain light fixture. there are 2 switches for the motor and the light. the cord has some nicks in it so if i was going to use this i nwould probably change the cording. but i plugged it in and it still works. the drill tip has surface rust but just needs to be cleaned. this is ll i know about this. This auction is for a used Jeneric Pentron Auto-Press Plus Porcelain Furnace. We were able to bake nice porcelain crowns and successfully run a few pressing programs. We could not fully test the pressing functionality of this oven because we do not have the accessories and materials for pressable ceramics. This oven is in mint cosmetic condition and has only 829 firing cycles on it. Because the door gasket does not sit well in its place there is an air leak and the vacuum pump turns on and of to keep the vacuum level above 700 mm. Sold as is.

I'm selling this unit for a friend who owned& used this furnace in his dental lab business- Art'n Techs Dental Designs. Inc in Seattle, WA. His timeline for moving and selling his lab equipment was dramatically shortened as an opportunity in his wifes home country of Switzerland opened up and a tightend the timeline. He used this furnace to sinter Inceram. As this oven could get hotter and hold longer than other ovens. After a year and a half it needed a new muffle. This furnace is still currently working but the oven is very tempermental. Sometimes it has a vacuum malfunction because the gasket around the base needs to be wiped clean. Also the base needs to be pushed from left to right in order for the table to rise up properly. Sometimes the functions do not light up- but it doesn't mean it is not working- what I have done is turn off the power for about ten minutes. Turn it back on and then the programs light up. Comes with the: 1) furnace. 2) operating and maintenance manual. This is a computerized. Programable oven. It is still working but I am listing it for parts because of all the above mentioned issues and it has been repaired twice. We are selling it for parts but there is a chance it will still be working when you receive it.

This is fully functional furnace. I have tested it and it reached 2200F in about ~15 mins. I shot a video showing from start to end(reached 1100F) I brought this furnace for my little gold melting experiment. But I failed at the"Aqua Regina" stage so I never successfully re-solidified the liquid gold back to the solid form and so, I've never used this furnace to to do the smelting. This furnace has the vacuum pump control feature but I don't have the pump! The furnace is Model No. 311400. Serial number 9252994, rated 115/230 Volts AC, Amp 12A, 50/60 hertz, 1400 watts. This furnace is made in Japan. The furnace is 15-1/2 inches wide by 16-1/2 inches deep by 21-1/4 inches tall, and weighs 49 pounds.
