Ney 3-550 Burnout oven THE LARGE SIZE. Very little used ready to use. DIGITAL CONTROL. Just checked- sells for $1890 new! Lab closing. Check my Ebay site now and then. Everything will be listed as fast as I can. More ovens. Lab equipment by the dozens and then by larger lots at the end! I got this as a backup(new) in case I needed to cast many rings at once but this only happened about 20 times ever and the rest of the time it sat idle and mocked me. Only about 20 minutes slower than the small Ney but of course the more rings. More soak time. Small cracks in the insulation like they all get but everything is tight, stable and ready to use right out of the box. VERY CLEAN. This oven was in a metal cabinet that had a metal hose from the exhaust directly to an exhaust fan so it never got bathed in sticky smoke. My 2cents: All modern burnout ... moreovens are recommended to have a 20 amp circuit but no one ever seems to do it(except me) and they are just normal 120volts. Of course. Trying to put this and another oven on one 15 amp circuit is asking to blow the fuse if they both kick in at once.
