Here I have a huge lot of original(1920s era I'm guessing) printing press furniture/spacers. They are all thin and vary in lengths from a couple inches to probably 10 inches. They are almost all about 5/8" wide and 1/8" thick but they do vary. HUNDREDS of pieces. I would guess around 350 but I have not counted them all. They almost completely fill a large flatrate priority box. As is no returns. Great. Beautiful rich patina on these. They are clean and ready to go! Good luck!

They are for the Centrifugal Pump which I believe was patented in 1916. The company does seem to be still in operation. There are 26 etched copper plates and 26 raised metal plates. All seem to be part of an antique blueprint for the Centrifigal Pump. I am not sure if the blueprint is complete. All are on metal with wood block backing. Vintage Chandler and Price platen printing press, antique, typeset
For sale is a C& P platen press. The serial number in photo two says"1986" from what I have found, that indicates that this press was manufactured in 1890, but I have never used this press other than spinning it over by hand and via the electric motor retrofitted onto it. The press(and the four Hamilton typeset cabinets full of typeset and shapes/designs) are in my basement. Unfortunately our basement does not have good access to get the press out. It will have to be disassembled to get it up the stairs and out. It appears from research that this printer weighs 2550 pounds. Antique vintage letterpress C&M printing press cast iron stamp collectors' item
Antique Vintage Original cast iron C@M(Curtis& Mitchell) letterpress printing press. Size 10" in length. Base is 5" x 7" 4 1/2" in height, about 8 pounds in weight. This rare press is probably dated to about 1890. It has the original dark green paint finish(looks more like black in photographs) I am not quite sure how it works as a press because there is no rollers or a chase. If you are a collector of printing history this is a real find. I can't imagine many of these things survive the test of time. Original Antique Small Calling Card Business Card Table Top Printing Press!
Up for auction today is a co ol O riginal Antique Table Top Calling Card or Business Card Printing Press! This little press is cast iron. And still carries much of its origi nal green and red paint! I t mea sures approx. 7 1/4" long x 5 1/2" wide. It stands on 4 small legs or feet. Each of wh ich are notched so it can be mounted on a table. With the handle in the upright position it stands approx. 6 1/2" tall. The handle is spring-loaded. And move s the type set block f rom the ink pad to t he pad that holds the card or paper. The type set block is wood with 6 lines for letters and a screw to hold it to the mechanism. The whole me chanism works fine. And the spring still has pretty good tension. Description: Up for your consideration we have this wonderful old antique stand with printing press letters. I don't know if it is a complete set but there are loads of letters and some numbers with some letters being upper case and others being lower. There are a couple of fancy letters too that I noticed. This was used circa 1910 to print smaller newspapers. Pamphlets, and weeklies according to the Granddaughter of the original owner and came out of one of the southern states I think she said.
