John Deere 440 Crawler Loader Backhoe Excavator Dozer NO RESERVE PRICE!
Elk Forest Farms. Inc. has a John Deere 440 crawler loader backhoe up for a no reserve price auction. I will post the hours and the S/N tommorow. This machine is an older machine that is slow and steady. The machine is powered by a General Motors 2-cylinder, 2-cycle diesel engine. The engine needs a sniff of starting fluid to fire up in the cooler weather. It fires up right away when it is hot. The engine sounds good with no smoking. The transmission seems to work well in all gears as does the engine clutch. The machine steers both ways. The backhoe attachment has some welding repair work done to it as you can see in the pictures. This backhoe disconnects and connects from the machine if desired. This is my own personal machine and I am the second owner. I purchased from the original owner about two years ago and he was a private owner with a small farmette. So machine has not been used hard but it is an 8 year old machine and it is used, not new. Here are the details: 2005 John Deere 110 Backhoe/Loader 4 wheel drive. Backhoe is removeable although it has never been off the machine. The machine then would work as a Tractor/Loader with 3 point/PTO. This machine has 2965 original hours and I have just had the local John Deere Dealership do a full scale maintenance servicing done.ALL NEW Fluids. Filters, lube, 2-3 hoses/fittings, new Steering Knuckles, total fuel system flush, lube and cleaning, hydraulic system flushed, etc.all checked over mechanically and given their"seal of approval" as a good, tight, very well maintained ... moreand in great operating condition machine! Cost me a little over $4500 to have this done but I am one of those guys that does not want ANY issue at all while using such a machine! This machine has a full Hard Enclosed cab with steel and glass(not a cheap canopy/tarp type cab) with full removeable doors(not pictured) It has 2-3 small. Lower pieces of glass that have some cracks and one very small piece by pedals that is missing. Doors are great and all big glass is good shape. Machine has lights. Wipers and heat but they stopped working in March suddenly after dumping a load into a truck. I have not had a chance to check it out but fuses all seem ok. Machine starts right up and runs out 110% She idles smooth and revs up strong with no hesitations. No smoke, no noises.just a super strong and smooth runner. Hydrostatic Transmission works perfectly and both the forward and reverse foot pedals work smooth and instantly. Machine has a High. Medium and Low range that all work great. Hour meter works. Ford 555A Backhoe No Reserve!
Up for bids is a decent 555A Ford Backhoe. I have owned this machine the past 10 years and have used it very little. It has a three cylinder diesel engine that runs strong. It has a 4 speed transmission that is strong with a left hand reverser. The tires are approximatley 40 percent on the rear and 50 on the front. It has a two stick control for the rear bucket. I put new digging teeth on it a few years ago and they are still in very good shape. It has some minor hydraulic cylinder leakage and the swing pins and bushings need replaced. But still work. I replaced a power steering hose and it stiill has a leak and it has to be filled periodically, but powersteering is strong otherwise The ft bucket is in poor condition but I have another nice one that goes with it. Backhoe John Deere 500C LOW RESERVE!
For sale John Deere 500C backhoe loader DIESEL. Tractor runs exactly as it should and is strong with no smoke. Fires right up! Loader is very slow and the backhoe is weak but still functions. The outriggers work as well and will lift machine off of ground. I believe the pump needs work but I am no mechanic. There is a pump rebuild kit online for $540 and thats the expensive fix, could be something else that is easier and cheaper.I have done the work I have needed to do with it and it is too big for what i need now. Sliding glass is out on rear window, no major leaks in hydraulics anywhere. Some of the lights work and some do not, probably something minor with the wiring. Case 580 580C Backhoe Extendahoe Back Hoe NO RESERVE
I am selling my Case 580C which is in good condition. I have owned this machine for about 25 years and it has been used lightly at my home for that time. It was repainted about 15 years ago and is in decent shape for its age showing some rust. But all panels are solid. This is a 2WD open cab unit with an Extendahoe. The engine runs strong. But sometimes the starter does not engage, so I usually just jump the starter with a screwdriver and it starts right up. The main reason that I am selling this unit is that something went wrong in the transmission, and I don't have time to fix it. The other known problems are that the brakes work intermittently and the lights are inop. Many hydraulic hoses have been replaced. Note that graphics state that it is a 580E. Ford 555 Backhoe (No Reserve)
We have a Ford 555 backhoe that runs great. It has some new hydraulic lines and two new front tires. It does have some rust on it. The front windshield is cracked but does not block your vision and there is one tooth broken off the hoe. I am unsure of the exact year. The guy I bought it from said he believed it to be a 1982. It can be shipped if you set it up. I will drive it on the trailer or help out any way I can. It starts right up and the hydraulics are smooth. This is a terramite backhoe. Its in good condition for a backhoe, it may not look pretty but its always did the job. All the hoses are ok, too me but I'm not a mechanic.I had to replace two of them when i bought it six years ago. Enclosed Backhoe with Heat. NO RESERVE!!!
NO RESERVE! I am selling a 1984 Ford 555A fully funcutional backhoe. The machine is older but I use it on a daily basis. The loader and hoe both work as they should. The pins and bushings are worm for the year of the machine but have never given me any trouble. The heat DOES work but only has a high speed on the blower switch. The lights were working but keep blowing a fuse. The top lights on the top will be coming off it it sells. The right front tire is brand new and the rear tires are less than a year old. This is a 1983 backhoe. I am the second owner having purchased it from the County in 2007 with 2973 Hours. They said the engine was rebuilt shortly before I bought it. A few weeks ago the engine stared to have a knocking noise when it warmed up. I had a mechanic out last weekend who changed the oil and after running it for about 10 minutes it died and he said the engine siezed up. So. It is availabe as it sits on the ground today. You must be prepared to tow if off-site. Prior to this problem, it was used several times a week to clean out my barn. Always started and ran well. As previously mentioned the hydraulic pump is leaking(I think it just needs seal in back) Needs brakes and will need starter button, has to be started down at starter. 2003 John Deere 110 TLB in GREAT condition. Privately owned machine- NOT a rental or a construction tractor. Bought originally at RDO Equipment in Southern CA, and was used in an orchard, then came to Southern AZ and has been a ranch tractor, so it hasn't had heavy use, no bends, broken welds/weld repairs, etc- this machine has had a very easy life. This is the handiest tractor ever made in my opinion, it's big enough to do anything I've ever needed, but you can still haul it with a 3/4 ton pick-up on a 20' trailer. The backhoe is easily removed and you can add lOTS of other attachments, it has a 3-point hook-up, and rear PTO so you can throw a gannon on it, brush hog, etc. It's four wheel drive and has a hydrostatic transmission, VERY easy to operate. I do NOT know the actual hours on it. The hour meter is digital, it ... morehas always lit up and comes on, but reads 28 hours, and has for years according to the previous owner. Between myself, the previous owner, and the shop that has done repair/maintenance on it- the"estimated" hours on it are somewhere around 3000-3500, that's just our best guess though. It is a VERY reliable machine, starts/runs/operates as it should. I have receipts for the most recent maintenance(fluids, filters, etc were just changed on 7-31-14) and a major service was done on 8-15-14(cost was over $3600) and they went through it and checked operations afterward, it performed to spec and is ready to go to work. Tires are all up and functional but not much tread. There is a guy around lexington on craigslist that has a back arm for a super e for 3500.00. It does has a couple hyd.
